SWELL SEASON STARS TO PLAY FOR FANS WHO WITNESSED SUICIDE
Oscar winners GLEN HANSARD and MARKETA IRGLOVA have offered to perform at counselling sessions for stunned fans who witnessed the suicide of MICHA EL PICKELS at the duo’s Saratoga, California show last week (19Aug10).
Pickels dived from the roof of the stage at the Mountain Winery and cra shed to the stage at the Swell Season show - close to where Irishman Hans ard was standing.
And now the duo has promised to perform acoustically for those struggli ng with what they saw at the show.
The intimate shows will be among their last - the Swell Season will spl it next month (Sep10) to concentrate on other ventures.
