LINDSAY LOHAN has been ordered to adhere to a strict outpatient rehabilit ation program including regular addiction counselling and psychotherapy s essions following her early release from inpatient rehab on Tuesday (24Au g10).
The Mean Girls actress was jailed last month (Jul10) for breaching her probation stemming from a 2007 DUI arrest.
Upon her release, after just 13 days, she was ordered to spend 90 days in rehab at the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Elden S. Fox agreed to discharge the 2 4 year old from the facility on Tuesday on the advise of her doctor.
And Fox laid out the terms of her release at a court hearing on Wednesd ay (25Aug10), which included orders Lohan undergo psychotherapy and couns eling sessions several times a week until November (10). She was also ord ered to submit to random drug and alcohol testing at least twice a week a nd to continue living in the Los Angeles area.
But all isn’t bad for the actress - Fox dismissed two drug counts that the actress had pleaded guilty to in 2007, and said Lohan will be taken o ff supervised probation if she complies with his orders, passes all drug and alcohol tests and does not miss any of her counseling sessions.
Lohan did not attend the hearing. However, her attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, assured the court the actress is ready to prove she can comply wi th Fox’s orders, stating: "She has changed. She’s healthy. She’s clear-he aded. She is positive at looking forward." Fox took over Lohan’s case after another judge, Marsha Revel, recused h erself earlier this month (Aug10).
