JARMUSCH PLANNING STOOGES DOCUMENTARY
Moviemaker JIM JARMUSCH is planning a new movie about IGGY POP’s punk ico ns THE STOOGES.
The reformed group approached Jarmusch to capture the essence of the ba nd in a documentary and the director is onboard.
He says, "There’s no rush on it, but it’s something that Iggy asked me to do." It seems Pop has picked the perfect guy to direct the project - Jarmusc h tells Pitchfork.com, "There’s a rule in my household that if Iggy is pl aying anywhere within 90 miles, we go."
