EFRON & TIMBERLAKE TO FIGHT FOR MEMPHIS?
ZAC EFRON is reportedly set to go head-to-head with JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE ove r a coveted new film role.
Both stars are said to want the lead in the movie adaptation of hit Bro adway musical Memphis.
Sources close to Timberlake told the New York Post in May (10) the Memp his, Tennessee native was interested in playing DJ Huey Calhoun in the fi lm version of Bon Jovi star David Bryan’s musical, and now BroadwayWorld.
com has revealed Efron has seen the show twice in recent months and is al so interested.
Meanwhile, insiders claim Oliver Stone has met with Bryan and his worki ng partner Joe DiPietro with a view to directing the proposed film.
