PIRANHA 3D TOWNSFOLK FEAR FILM FANS WILL STAY AWAY
Officials in Arizona tourist hotspot Lake Havasu are hoping film fans don ‘t recognise the town as the fictional location of new movie PIRANHA 3D - and believe the area is the home of schools of flesh-eating fish.
Director Alexandre Aja turned the area into Lake Victoria for his disas ter film, which opens in America this weekend (beg20Aug10), but town lead ers are keen to point out there are no deadly fish in Lake Havasu.
Official Jeff Blumenfeld tells the Los Angeles Times, "We=E2=80=99re gr itting our teeth - we=E2=80=99re just hoping that the reaction is a good one for the city… We haven=E2=80=99t see any piranha."
