Rapper/actor ICE-T has blasted police allegations he was driving on a sus pended license when he was pulled over in New York on Tuesday (20Jul10), dismissing the charge as a "lie".
Cops stopped the Law & Order: SVU star and his wife Coco when the coupl e was spotted not wearing seatbelts.
A subsequent search of police records suggested Ice-T had been temporar ily banned from driving and he was booked and released for the charge.
But Ice-T is adamant he has not broken any rules and is convinced autho rities have it all wrong - because his license from his native New Jersey is clean.
In a post on his Twitter.com blog, he writes, "That (suspended license) is some bulls**t they made up… Lie.
"For the record… My license is not suspended. I don’t and never had a NYC licence. I have a valid NJ licence. It was all bulls**t." Earlier in the day, he had tweeted: "Some punk b**ch rookie cop named F isher #10026 Made the arrest of his bulls**t career today. Arresting the Notorious Ice T for no seatbelt." But Ice-T has more than the arrest on his mind - his bulldog Spartacus is sick after undergoing surgery on his knee.
The rapper writes, "Annnnyway (sic)… Spartacus is doing well after hi s surgery this morning. He’ll be home tomorrow. Wow! What a morning! "Honestly I’m really only thinking bout my dog. I’m glad he’ s ok.. Sen d your get wells to @cutespartacus."

Reality TV star KOURTNEY KARDASHIAN is urging her famous family to stop s wearing around her baby boy MASON because she fears the tot’s first words will be profanities.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star admits she has learned to curb her own bad language when she’s looking after her seven-month-old son bu t her relatives are struggling to remember the rule - and boyfriend Scott Disick and her sister Khloe Kardashian are the worst offenders.
In a blog post for People.com, she writes, "When Mason was born, I was extra cautious about people cursing in front of him; I only played classi cal music around him, etc. =E2=80=A6 He=E2=80=99s such an angelic innocen t boy.
"As time goes on - and especially in my family where everyone has a mou th on them - people forget to censor what they say around Mason. Scott an d Khloe are the ones with the worst mouths. They both try not to curse in front of Mason, but trust me, they do." Kardashian admits she constantly worries about what vocabulary Mason is picking up and she doesn’t want him to become a kid with a potty mouth - so she wants everyone to watch what they say around the baby.
She adds, "Sooner than I know it, Mason will start talking and understa nding what we=E2=80=99re all saying. Having a bad mouth is not a good qua lity regardless of whether or not you=E2=80=99re around a baby, so it wou ldn=E2=80=99t be the worst thing for everyone to stop."

JIM CARREY’s stalled comedy PIERRE PIERRE is back on track - filmmaker LA RRY CHARLES has signed on to direct the movie, two years after the projec t was announced.
The film, about an obnoxious Frenchman who transports a stolen painting from Paris to London, was originally set to be made by Up In The Air’s J ason Reitman, but the Oscar nominee dropped out and the picture was left in limbo following a series of studio setbacks.
However, Pierre Pierre has now been given a reboot with Bruno director Charles taking charge of the shoot, according to Deadline.com.
The movie’s producers are aiming to make the film on a budget of just $ 20 million (=C2=A313.3 million).

LINDSAY LOHAN’s estranged father has spoken of his pride for his actress and the dignity she showed as she was cuffed and led to jail on Tuesday m orning (20Jul10).
Michael Lohan was in court for the brief pre-jail hearing, even though his troubled daughter insisted she didn’t want him anywhere near her.
Lohan yelled, "I love you Lindsay" as the Mean Girls star was led away in handcuffs and outside court, he told reporters he was surprised the fr agile actress didn’t break down as her freedom was taken from her.
He says, "I’m actually proud of the way Lindsay handled it." And Michael Lohan is still adamant his daughter would be better served with a stint in rehab.
He adds, "Get her off drugs first, then put her in jail.
"She’s going into jail, they’re gonna keep her on the same prescription (drugs) she was on when she went in." Lohan was sentenced to serve 90 days behind bars for violating parole; she’s expected to serve 13 days.

JESSE JAMES has won his ongoing custody battle against ex-wife JANINE LIN DEMULDER and has been granted permission to move his daughter to Texas.
The disgraced TV mechanic will move to the state on 31 July (10) to be closer to his former wife Sandra Bullock and her adopted son Louis.
Bullock moved to Austin, Texas following news of her then-husband’s all eged infidelities earlier this year (10).
Porn star Lindemulder asked a judge to ban James from moving from Calif ornia with their daughter Sunny, arguing that Bullock has no interest in continuing a relationship with the youngster. Bullock and James were gran ted full guardianship of the six year old in early 2009, after Lindemulde r was sentenced to six months in jail for tax evasion.
On Tuesday (20Jul10), James was officially handed physical custody of S unny, although both parents will share legal custody.
But Lindemulder has been told she can have physical custody of the chil d until she starts school in Texas in September (10).
Following the ruling, the porn star started sobbing, screaming, "I’ll m ove, I’ll move!" Speaking outside the court she tells TMZ.com, "Someday I will be her mo ther again."

Northern Irish punk icon-turned-music executive FEARGAL SHARKEY is to be knighted in England for his services to British entertainment, according to a new report.
The former The Undertones frontman and A Good Heart hitmaker is to rece ive a life peerage from U.K. Prime Minister David Cameron, reports the Da ily Mirror.
After disbanding The Undertones in the early 1980s, Sharkey became a le ading talent spotter and he now heads up UK Music, a pressure group which speaks out about industry issues such as piracy and licensing.

The tough guy, who shares three daughters with his wife, former model J ennifer Flavin, admits he was desperate for a strong male companion to co mbat all of the female energy at home, and he bought himself the most rug ged dog he could find before he went off to make the 2008 war movie.
He says, "Everything in the house is female… I’d like to have one mal e companion. I looked in the dog thesaurus and it says, ‘Catahoula leopar d dog, raised in the swamps of New Orleans, considered the thug of the ca nine world.’ I said that’s it. I got a thug dog.
"He’s got crystal eyes, they’re kind of off-center. This dog, he’s goin g to do some terrible things." But Stallone was stunned when his wife took away the dog’s manhood.
He explains, "Unfortunately, he had this thing with his body, his repro ductive system is kind of reddish - like mistletoe, like holly.

Lohan surrendered to authorities and began her 90-day sentence at Lynwo od Correctional Facility in Los Angeles on Tuesday morning (20Jul10), whe re she’s more than likely to bump into reality TV star and burglar Alexis Neiers.
The 19 year old is serving a 180-day sentence for felony first-degree r esidential burglary of Orlando Bloom’s home.
She had pleaded no contest to charges against her in connection with th e "bling ring" burglary crew that targeted celebrity homes, including Loh an’s Hollywood Hills residence, raiding them for jewellery, clothing and keepsakes.
Neiers’ mother has described the conditions inside Lynwood in regular T witter.com accounts, revealing her daughter, who started her sentence las t month (Jun10), has been sick behind bars and has lost weight.
Mum Andrea Arlington insists her daughter is struggling with jail life: "She has lost 8 lbs. since she is in there from being so sick and from n ot being able to keep down the food. Action man-turned-California Governor ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER has appointed actress GEENA DAVIS to a state commission established to promote women’s equality.
The Thelma and Louise star, a Democrat, was appointed to California’s C ommission on the Status of Women on Tuesday (20Jul10).
The nonpartisan panel works to promote equality and justice for all wom en in areas such as education and access to health care.
Davis, 54, has previously worked to promote the cause - she is involved in the United Nations Development Fund for Women and is founder of the G eena Davis Institute on Gender in Media, which encourages film and TV wri ters to create more roles for the fairer sex.
Davis will serve on the commission for four years.

LINDSAY LOHAN has asked her fans to pray for her as she serves time behin d bars for violating the terms of her probation, according to her lawyer.
The Mean Girls star surrendered to Los Angeles authorities on Tuesday m orning (20Jul10) and was booked into Lynwood Correctional Facility to beg in her 90-day sentence.
Her legal representative, Shawn Chapman Holley, reveals the actress was "scared" as she entered the detention centre and has requested the suppo rt of her devotees to help her see through her punishment.
Holley says, "She’s scared as anyone would be. But she’s resolute and s he’s doing it. She asks for your prayers and support.
"(Lohan) is accepting responsibility and (has) stepped up to the plate and is doing what has been asked of her." Lohan violated her probation from a 2007 DUI arrest by failing to atten d court-ordered alcohol education classes.

Rapper DMX surprised fans at a LIL KIM concert in Arizona on Saturday (18 Jul10) by reuniting with the diminutive star to perform their 1998 collab oration MONEY, POWER & RESPECT.
Lil Kim was performing at a nightclub in Scottsdale when DMX bounded on stage during the opening bars of rap group The LOX’s hit, which featured both hip-hop artists, to trade verses with the Lady Marmalade star.
