She tells Britain’s The People newspaper, "I was madly in love with him .. I was absolutely devastated and numb. I didn’t know what to do. Losing my left leg in a motorcycle accident was 20 times easier to deal with tha n losing my marriage.
"The thing that kept me going was Beatrice and my friends and family.
"Paul and I were completely in love. It was a real love story - but it ended even though I didn’t want it to. I had to leave. I had no choice."

VICIOUS GHOST ‘WALKED THROUGH’ DIRECTOR OF WHO KILLED NANCY?

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 2:51 am

Punk historian ALAN G. PARKER feared he’d upset the ghost of SID VICIOUS when he started researching his new documentary WHO KILLED NANCY? - becau se the ex-SEX PISTOLS star walked right through him.
Parker visited the Bank Street home in New York where the tragic rock i con suffered a heroin overdose and died in 1979 and was allowed access to the bedroom where Vicious’ body was found - and he immediately felt unwe lcome.
The documentarian explains, "I had been talking to the guy who now live s there for various research on Sid for books I’ve written. I got to the house and this guy Howie is a lovely little fellow and he invited me in a nd asked if I’d like to go into the bedroom where Sid died.
"I’d probably been in every building Sid entered in his short life. It was December and freezing in New York and I had a big huge duffle coat on and I walked into this warm bedroom and felt as though something passed right through me and it was really, really cold! "I turned around, said thanks for letting me in and walked straight out back into Greenwich Village… I was really freaked out by the place. I thought, ‘You’ve done all this stuff in your life, maybe this is a bridge too far.’" And it seems the spirit of Sid was right to be wary of a writer/filmmak er investigating whether or not the punk star killed his girlfriend Nancy Spungen - his finished film is a very revealing one and could stain the Sex Pistols star’s legacy.
Parker adds, "I spent the last months with Sid when he was in England a nd I was intrigued by the idea of ‘Did Sid kill Nancy?’ "For 24 years, I believed that the answer was no. I tell audiences that I’ve screened the movie for, ‘I’m going to make you a member of the NYPD for one evening. You watch 19 years worth of evidence and, at the end, y ou tell me, do you think Sid killed Nancy?’"
