The CSI: Miami star, 41, is expecting a baby with her musician partner, Paul Bryan, and her rep has confirmed the happy news to TV Guide Magazin e.
The publication reports the pregnancy will not be written into the upco ming season of the hit crime show, due to air in America in October (10).

Rock supergroup THE CARS are teasing fans about a possible reunion by pos ting a photo of the bandmates working together in the studio on their Fac ebook fan page.
The My Best Friend’s Girl hitmakers split 22 years ago, three years aft er enjoying a massive global hit with Live Aid theme Drive.
Bandmates Elliot Easton and Greg Hawkes reteamed for a mini-Cars reunio n in 2005, but failed to convince frontman Ric Ocasek and David Robinson to join them. Instead, they hit the road as The New Cars with Utopia star s Todd Rundgren, Prairie Prince and Kasim Sulton.
The new photo features Ocasek and Robinson and an accompanying caption reads: "Anyone in the mood for a reunion by The Cars?" The fifth member of the band, bassist/vocalist Benjamin Orr, died of pa ncreatic cancer in 2000.

RONNIE JAMES DIO’s death was a big shock to his HEAVEN & HELL bandmate TO NY IOMMI - because he was convinced the rocker was beating stomach cancer ..
The Black Sabbath founder has revealed he spoke to Dio just days before his death in May (10) and the singer seemed upbeat about his treatment.
Iommi, who fronted a Dio tribute concert at the High Voltage festival i n London at the weekend (24Jul10), says, "He said, ‘I’ve gotta have this new chemo, but I think it’s working.’ And that was the real big shock of it, because within a week of that, he had passed away… We didn’t expect to lose (him).
"Ronnie was always a person you thought would always be there… We had a great relationship." Iommi insists the High Voltage Dio tribute is the only one he and his H eaven & Hell bandmates will take part in.
He adds, "He loved his fans and that’s why we wanna do this show, becau se we owe it to the fans to do this show.
"We’re not cashing in, it’s all for charity. It all goes to charity. We just wanna do it for him and the fans."

WYCLEF JEAN is reconsidering running for president of his devastated home land Haiti, according to his charitable foundation.
The former Fugees star has been instrumental in ensuring the Haitians l eft homeless by the massive earthquake in January (10) have aid, and has built temporary shelters through his Yele Haiti organisation.
Jean’s dedication and service prompted many to call for him to step int o politics, but he initially shrugged off the idea, saying, "If I take a job being a president, I can’t do as much as I’m doing for my country." However, according to CNN, the star has filled out the relevant paperwo rk in case he wants to put himself forward as a presidential candidate in the 2010 elections, pondering during a telephone interview, "I can’t sin g forever." But a statement from his foundation adds that Jean is yet to come to a final decision: "Wyclef’s commitment to his homeland and its youth is bou ndless, and he will remain its greatest supporter regardless of whether h e is part of the government moving forward.
"At this time, Wyclef Jean has not announced his intent to run for Hait ian president. If and when a decision is made, media will be alerted imme diately."

HARRY POTTER star DAWN FRENCH is "amazed" how she and estranged husband L ENNY HENRY have worked through their split - insisting they are now the " best of friends".
The two British comics announced in April (10) that they separated back in October (09) after 25 years of marriage, but had chosen to keep the b reak-up private.
The statement released by the pair’s publicist insisted the split was " entirely amicable" and revealed they were focusing on maintaining their f riendship for the sake of their daughter Billie.
And French has confirmed they have "remarkably" kept their promise.
She tells Britain’s Radio Times, "Remarkably, we seem to have shifted w ith relative ease from a 25-year marriage to a lasting friendship.
"I am amazed by us - there is no war, we have turned out to be the best of friends." French also confirms in the interview that the couple underwent therapy in 1999 when their marriage was rocked by claims Henry was unfaithful.
She adds, "We went to therapy for a few months. We went separately - it gives you an interesting way to come together with new ideas of how to d eal with it."

British actor DANNY DYER is in trouble again after he was allegedly caugh t driving without a valid licence, according to U.K. reports.
The Business star has kept a low profile since May (10) when he came un der fire from domestic violence groups for an inappropriate response to a reader’s letter in his column for men’s magazine Zoo.
In the piece he told a 23-year-old reader to "cut your ex’s face, and t hen no one will want her" when asked for advice on how to get over a brea k-up.
Now Dyer has caused outrage among road safety campaigners for allegedly getting behind the wheel of a Porsche sportscar - despite not legally be ing able to drive.
According to Britain’s The Sun, which has published pictures purportedl y showing the star driving the vehicle, Dyer has a provisional licence - which means he is only allowed to take to the road if he has a qualified motorist over the age of 21 in the passenger seat and L-Plates clearly po sitioned on the car.
When quizzed about the situation, he told the newspaper, "I don’t drive .." A rep for U.K. road safety charity RoSPA slammed the move as "irrespons ible".

A spokesman for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has dismissed reports LINDSAY LOHAN’s jail time has been further slashed - insisting " nothing has changed".
The Mean Girls actress was sentenced to 90 days behind bars for breachi ng her parole in relation to a 2007 DUI arrest and she was admitted to th e Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, California, last week ( 20Jul10).
Her initial three-month stint was reduced to 13 days because of overcro wding in prison.
Online reports have suggested the star could be out before Saturday (31 Jul10), but L.A. Sheriff’s Department rep Steve Whitmore insists Lohan wi ll still be behind bars until next week (begs01Aug10).
He tells E! News, "Nothing has changed. When she was incarcerated I sai d a couple of weeks and it hasn’t been a couple of weeks. That turns out to be the first part of next week. It could be Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, s omething like that."

And he admits it didn’t take much to turn him off meat - thanks to a ba d dream: "I had a nightmare a few years ago where I was witnessing a cow and a calf being slaughtered. It was a horrible nightmare and it was so g raphic that I just thought, ‘I can’t eat meat,’ so I stopped for a while and then I went back to it about six months later. But I’ve made this pro mise now and I’m gonna keep to it." McCartney is helping Healy keep his promise by sending him recipes cook ed up by his late wife Linda McCartney.
The Scottish star recalls, "It was so sweet when the parcel arrived. We didn’t know what it was, but Paul had written a little post-it note sayi ng, ‘This should be enough to get you started. Love, Paul.’ I’m like, ‘Wo w’." And Healy’s favourite McCartney dish - Linda’s lasagne: "We made it and yeah, it was really great."

The rising star was one of five finalists, alongside Lil Wayne’s proteg ee Minaj, Jay-Z’s artist Cole, Rev. Run’s son Diggy Simmons and Travis Po rter to land the honour as the most promising new artist on the hip-hop s cene.

The original members of cult rock act CATHEDRAL are reuniting for a one-n ight only show in London to mark their 20th anniversary.
Lee Dorrian, Garry Jennings, Mark Griffiths, Adam Lehan and Mike Smail will perform their breakthrough album Forest of Equilibrium in its entire ty at the O2 Academy in North London in December (10).
The current Cathedral line-up will also perform a second set at the ann iversary show, according to Blabbermouth.net.
Frontman Dorrian says, "We have come a long way since those dirge-ridde n, smoke-filled, cheap-lager-and sweat-infested early rehearsals back in 1990.

Singer KATHARINE MCPHEE credits her actor husband NICK COKAS with encoura ging her to get involved in charity work because he constantly reminds he r "what is important in life".
The former American Idol star wed Cokas in 2008 and she has been active ly involved in a number of worthy causes over the years through her own c harity, McPhee Outreach.
The organisation has worked with children’s hospitals in California and has helped to combat the high illiteracy rate in Africa, and McPhee’s la test collaborative effort has seen the pop star team up with hunger relie f charity Feeding America.
And the 26 year old admits her philanthropy has been inspired by Cokas.
She tells America’s OK! magazine, "He completes my soul. He’s perfect f or me because he keeps me focused and in line with what is important in l ife. Going back to charity stuff, he’s always the one that reminds me tha t those are the important things to do, and to keep that a priority and p art of my career."

AC/DC’s ongoing BLACK ICE tour has been named the second highest-grossing trek in rock history on a new Billboard magazine list.
After performing 168 shows to close to five million fans around the glo be in the last two years, AC/DC’s tour ranks second to the Rolling Stones ‘ A Bigger Bang, which grossed $558.3 million (=C2=A3372.2 million).
Billboard reports ACX/DC played 28 Black Ice shows in 2008, 99 in 2009 and 40 concerts this year (10).

Rapper DMXis heading back to jail just weeks after serving a four-month s tint behind bars for a probation violation.
The gravel-voiced hip-hop star is planning to surrender to authorities and begin serving time in Los Angeles in connection to a reckless driving conviction eight years ago (02).
TMZ.com reports DMX was placed on probation after he pleaded no contest to the crime, which he has since violated and has been ordered to serve 90 days behind bars.
The rapper’s manager insists her client, real name Earl Simmons, is "fo cused" on taking care of all of his past legal issues so he can move on w ith his life.
It’s a dark time for DMX - the recently separated from his wife, accord ing to reports.
