MARC JACOBS’ ex-partner LORENZO MARTONE has moved on from his split with the celebrity fashion designer - he’s reportedly dating former ‘N SYNC si nger LANCE BASS.
The former couple staged an unofficial wedding ceremony in the Caribbea n in January (10), and had plans to make their union legal later this yea r.
But last week (ends23Jul10), Martone revealed on Twitter.com he had spl it from Jacobs "two months ago".
According to the New York Daily News, Martone has now moved on by embar king on a romance with Bass; and the pair has been seen acting "flirty" t ogether several times in recent weeks in New York and Miami, Florida.

JULIA ROBERTS, FOREST WHITAKER and GOLDIE HAWN have signed TV deals with media queen OPRAH WINFREY to develop documentaries for the mogul’s new U.
S. network.
The trio, along with American actress Mariel Hemingway and Irish actor Gabriel Byrne, will produce documentaries for Winfrey’s new OWN TV networ k, set to launch next year (11).
The shows will be part of a monthly Documentary Film Club.
Roberts will present and executive-produce Extraordinary Moms, a film l ooking at the power of mothers who have fought to make their kids - and t he world - better, while Whitaker will produce and narrate One Last Shot, a film that goes inside Louisiana’s Angola prison.
Hawn will produce, host and narrate Searching for Happiness, a document ary that will focus on positive psychology; Byrne will look at homelessne ss in Nashville, Tennessee with the film Tent City, and Hemingway will ex plore the legacy of suicide in her own family in the film Seven Suicides, reports Variety.
A spokesperson for OWN says, "All of these documentaries fundamentally explore human interaction, relationships and emotions. We’re excited to p rovide viewers with new perspectives and new ways of looking at core them es that shape and affect their lives." The group joins a growing number of A-list celebrities to work with the Oprah Winfrey Network.
Country music singer Shania Twain will star in Why Not? With Shania Twa in, which will follow her life on the rebound after a messy public divorc e, while Jenny McCarthy has reportedly landed a deal for her own talk sho w.

KEVIN KLINE wowed U.S. TV audiences with his piano skills on Monday night (26Jul10) by staging a performance with comedian JIMMY FALLON and his ba ck-up band THE ROOTS.
The Oscar winner harboured dreams of becoming a piano prodigy when he w as young, but gave the hobby up for acting because he "couldn’t see a fut ure" in music.
But Fallon urged the actor to revisit his past and tickle the ivories d uring an appearance on his talk show Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, prompt ing Kline to play a rendition of Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata.
Explaining his decision to give up his musical aspirations, Kline said, "I had a terrible practising discipline. I would try to be practising my classical music but I would be distracted by other things. This is a dem onstration of how important discipline is for any job." The unlikely triple act then livened the crowd, ending the set with a p erformance of the Doobie Brothers’ 1970s hit Takin’ it to the Streets, wi th Fallon on vocals.

The AMERICAN IDOL reject who stormed the stage during the competition’s l ive TV finale in May (10) is preparing to file a $300 million (=C2=A3200 million) lawsuit against show producers, accusing them of "exploiting" hi s sexuality.
Former contestant Ian Benardo, who failed to pass auditions when he tri ed out for the talent show in 2006, interrupted funnyman Dane Cook’s come dy skit when he ran on stage and grabbed the microphone from the actor at the Los Angeles event.
Calling it "a Kanye West moment", Benardo began to hurl abuse at exitin g American Idol judge Simon Cowell, insisting he was going to replace the music mogul on the programme because, "I’m more entertaining than you." But in new legal papers filed with the New York State Equal Employment Opportunity Commission on Monday (26Jul10), Benardo claims he was put up to the stunt by Idol executives who invited him back for this year’s (10) final and asked him to be "outrageous" and "gay".
The documents state that producers had previously "exploited… my sexu al orientation" when he auditioned for the contest, by ordering him to "g ay it up".
Benardo insists he was given similar orders when he returned in May (10 ).
He goes on to accuse Cook of threatening him after the incident, claimi ng Idol bosses warned him he was "not safe" and advised him to leave the Nokia Theatre immediately.
According to TMZ.com, Benardo is now set to take the battle to court an d is seeking damages for emotional injuries suffered and loss of employme nt opportunities as a result of the incident.
Representatives for both American Idol and Cook have yet to respond to the legal action.

SHARON OSBOURNE will come face-to-face with reality TV reject MEGAN HAUSE RMAN in a Los Angeles courtroom next year (11) - a judge has set a trial date over allegations of battery.
The wife of rocker Ozzy Osbourne is being sued by Hauserman amid claims she was attacked by Osbourne after appearing on her U.S. TV series Rock Of Love: Charm School in December 2008.
Osbourne is said to have lost her temper when the contestant insulted h er husband, calling the former Black Sabbath star a "brain-dead rocker".
Hauserman filed suit accusing the rock matriarch of battery, negligence and infliction of emotional distress. She went on to further allege that Osbourne attempted to assault a process server when he tried to hand her legal papers in April 2009.
Osbourne subsequently countersued, claiming Hauserman initiated the bra wl on TV for her own publicity.
Defending her actions, Osbourne said, "She had it coming, big time. It shows you how dumb she is. Anyone who knows anything about me knows not t o say anything about my family, or you’re going to get it. Say what you l ike about me, but don’t ever, ever, ever insult my family." The two parties will now meet in a Los Angeles court on 8 February (11) , unless they can reach a settlement before the case goes to trial, repor ts Eonline.com.
Police were brought in to investigate Hauserman’s allegations against O sbourne, but no charges were filed.

MEL GIBSON met with Los Angeles police on Sunday (25Jul10) to present evi dence backing up allegations his ex-girlfriend OKSANA GRIGORIEVA attempte d to extort $10 million (=C2=A36.6 million) from him to keep recordings o f his telephone rants private.
The former couple, which split earlier this year (10), has become embro iled in a bitter battle over recent weeks as they attempt to thrash out c ustody arrangements for their young daughter, Lucia.
The public falling out has seen Grigorieva accuse the disgraced Bravehe art star of hitting her during heated arguments, and leaked audio footage of telephone calls in which the actor can allegedly be heard hurling abu se and vile threats at his partner.
Gibson’s lawyers denied the attack allegations and lodged an official c omplaint with police, accusing the Russian singer of trying to bribe the star for a big cash payout in exchange for the audio footage.
He was interviewed by detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department on Sunday, when he and his lawyer reportedly submitted "physic al evidence" in the form of emails and text messages to prove their case, according to TMZ.com.
However, Gibson did not address the assault allegations he is now facin g as per the strict guidelines his lawyer laid out prior to the police me eting.
Grigorieva has rejected Gibson’s extortion accusations and her rep, Ste phen Jaffe, has previously insisted his client is innocent of the claims.
He said, "To specifically address the allegations, my client, Ms. Grigo rieva, has repeatedly stated that there is no credible evidence whatsoeve r of extortion by her, and she stands steadfastly by that statement." (MT

Heavy rockers METALLICA have rewarded a fan who campaigned to bring the b and’s tour to New Zealand by giving him free tickets to one of their upco ming shows in the country.
Jamie Woods organised a petition in May (10) to persuade the group to o rganise a concert in Christchurch.
He was delighted when the band took notice and scheduled two shows in t he city in September (10), but Woods was left disappointed when he was un able to secure tickets as the gigs sold out within an hour.
But his dream of seeing his idols live came true on Saturday (25Jul10) when a representative from the band’s Q Prime management company called h im to personally offer him two tickets to the date of his choice.
He tells Stuff.co.nz, "I didn’t cry this time, I froze. I said to her, ‘That’s not nice, you cannot do that to someone. That’s bloody cruel’." But he soon realised the call was not a prank and spent the rest of the day "dancing around like a clown" in excitement.
He adds, "It means the world (to me)."

JIM MORRISON’s handwritten lyrics for THE DOORS’ track L.A. WOMAN are set to sell at auction for $30,000 (=C2=A320,000).
The words to the song, written on a sheet of A4 paper, are surrounded b y doodles and sketches which Morrison scribbled as he wrestled with the l yrics.
Officials at British auction house Cameo will sell the memorabilia next month (Aug10).

A representative for DMX has confirmed the troubled rapper surrendered to authorities to begin another jail term on Monday (26Jul10) - insisting t he hip-hop star plans to "rebuild his image" by taking responsibility for his actions.
The musician - real name Earl Simmons - was handed a three-month stint behind bars for a probation violation in connection with a reckless drivi ng conviction eight years ago (02).
He turned himself over to authorities in Los Angeles on Monday (26Jul10 ) and went back to prison barely four weeks after he was released followi ng four months behind bars on a separate parole violation charge.
DMX’s lawyer Aja M. Southern is adamant the star has "co-operated" full y with the court system and is planning to use his time inside to clean u p his act.

MOTLEY CRUE star NIKKI SIXX is adamant VINCE NEIL’s recent arrest won’t a ffect the band’s upcoming shows - but concedes his bandmate is currently "struggling with different demons".

KELLY OSBOURNE is defending her decision to wear a t-shirt poking fun at MEL GIBSON’s tape scandal, insisting she isn’t siding with the under-fire actor.
The reality TV star was photographed wearing a top with a picture of th e Braveheart star and the words "You should just smile and blow me!" a fe w days after her brother Jack was also seen in the same clothing.
The message references a number of tape rants which purportedly feature Gibson shouting abusive messages to his ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva.
Osbourne has faced criticism over the shirts, but she insists the stars were just having fun with the "stupid" quote.
In her weekly column in Britain’s Closer magazine, she writes, "My brot her Jack made these shirts and the quote on the front is taken from an ab usive rant Mel Gibson allegedly left on his ex-girlfriend’s answerphone. Some people have said it looks like we’re condoning Mel, but of course we ‘re not.

Veteran British actress DAME JUDI DENCH has signed up to perform at a con cert dedicated to iconic composer STEPHEN SONDHEIM in London on Saturday (31Jul10).
The Bond star, who appeared in a West End production of Sondheim’s A Li ttle Night Music in 1995, has agreed to sing the show’s well-loved number , Send In The Clowns, at the event.
The concert, part of the BBC Proms festival, will be held to mark the m usic legend’s 80th birthday, which he celebrated in March (10).
Dench admits she’s honoured to be taking part, but she’s nervous about singing the famous song again.

The Desperate Housewives star has reportedly met with film bosses on se veral occasions to audition and discuss the role in the comic book blockb uster, which will bring together characters including Robert Downey, Jr.’ s Iron Man, The Hulk, Thor and Captain America.
A source tells Fox News, "Marvel is in negotiations with Eva and she is just right for the role. First, she read for the part, then she went int o the studio for camera tests.
"The team liked her for The Wasp so much that she did green screen work in the late spring. She’s perfect in size and attitude. Eva is cute, sex y and full of energy for the part. The character is a bit like Gabby, her character on Desperate Housewives." Meanwhile, Castle star Nathan Fillion is said to be in the running to p lay The Wasp’s husband Ant-Man.
The insider adds, "Nathan Fillion, a favourite of (Avengers screenwrite r) Joss Whedon, is set to play Ant-Man. Ant-Man is married to The Wasp in the comics. They would be a dynamic duo - both are hilarious and togethe r they will have great comedy and chemistry. It’s a win-win if Eva can ti e up the role." The Avengers is set for release in 2012.
