TOM JONES is calling on EMINEM to collaborate with him after mid-week sal es show the veteran is set to end the rapper’s four-week reign at the top of the U.K. album charts.

Incarcerated LIL WAYNE is refusing to let his legal problems silence his music - he’s been rapping verses of new material to his hip-hop protege D RAKE via the prison phone.
The Lollipop hitmaker, real name Dwayne Carter, Jr., is serving time at New York’s tough Rikers Island prison after pleading guilty to charges o f gun possession.
Wayne’s stayed in close touch with his Young Money Records protege Drak e during his sentence and has been using his time wisely, working on trac ks for the follow-up to his hit album Tha Carter III.
And the hip-hop newcomer was shocked during a recent phone conversation with his jailed boss - when Wayne began showcasing the new songs from hi s highly-anticipated record The Carter IV.

CYBILL SHEPHERD has issued a public plea to Hollywood veteran BETTY WHITE - she wants to be a part of the former GOLDEN GIRLS star’s hit new U.S. sitcom.

TOM SELLECK grew so attached to the horse he rode in movie westerns QUIGL EY DOWN UNDER and LAST STAND AT SABER RIVER he spent thousands shipping t he animal from Australia to his California ranch.
The former Magnum, P.I. star established his reputation as a great hors eman while riding Spike in the films and he couldn’t bear to leave Austra lia without his favourite steed.
He tells American Cowboy magazine, "I’ve become a pretty established ri de, but there’s nothing like a good horse." Selleck admits he tried to buy Spike from his handlers after completing the two films - and they decided to let the actor have the Quarter horse as a gift.
He recalls, "It was an enormous sign of respect. I was very touched. Bu t then I found out it would cost me about $7,000 to fly him here (to Cali fornia) from Australia. He’s been in my barn ever since." And Selleck has never stopped riding - he has a collection of horses on his Ventura County ranch.
Spike is now in his mid-twenties.

Actor WILMER VALDERRAMA still regrets candid comments he made about ex-gi rlfriends MANDY MOORE and LINDSAY LOHAN during a radio chat with shock jo ck HOWARD STERN.

DANIEL RADCLIFFE has apologised to disappointed fans who camped out at la st weekend’s (22-25Jul10) Comic-Con convention in San Diego, California h oping to see their HARRY POTTER hero - explaining he was in Russia celebr ating his 21st birthday.
Thousands of Potter devotees descended on the comic book convention and queued for hours to ensure they were first in line to catch the Harry Po tter and The Deathly Hallows panel discussion.
But fans expecting Radcliffe and his co-stars Rupert Grint and Emma Wat son were left disappointed when only the villain of the film franchise, T om Felton - who plays Draco Malfoy - turned up.
Radcliffe understands why fans, who took to the Internet to complain ab out the star’s no-show, are unhappy but he insists he was never billed to appear at Comic-Con.
He tells the Los Angeles Times, "I apologise to all the wishful thinker s for my disappointing non-presence. I suppose it’s like when I’m at (a m usic festival), and I hear that suddenly some amazing band is going to pl ay a surprise gig and then it turns out to be total fiction.
"I was in St. Petersburg (Russia) for my birthday, which is probably th e most beautiful, the most incredible, wonderful place I’ve ever been in my life. It really is absolutely amazing. I went with two friends and it was brilliant." Radcliffe turned 21 on 23 July (10).

BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN wowed music fans at a tiny New Jersey club on Saturday (24Jul10) when he hit the stage with singer/songwriter ALEJANDRO ESCOVEDO for a trio of tunes.
The rock legend was an unannounced guest at the Stone Pony and thrilled Escovedo’s fans when he walked out to join his pal.
The duo performed Escovedo’s Always a Friend, a cover of the Rolling St ones’ Beast of Burden and a new song, titled Faith, according to Rolling Stone.
