The Bronson star is engaged to actress Charlotte Riley but admits he ex perimented with homosexuality when he was younger.

A lawyer representing CASEY AFFLECK filed a request on Wednesday (28Jul10 ) asking for the sexual harassment case against the actor to be moved awa y from the court system and into arbitration.
Ben Affleck’s brother is being sued for $2 million (=C2=A31.3 million) by Amanda White, a producer on his documentary I’m Still Here, which foll ows actor Joaquin Phoenix’s attempts to become a rap star.
White filed suit last week (23Jul10) alleging she endured "uninvited an d unwelcome sexual advances in the workplace" while making the movie. The producer has a list of accusations, which include sexual harassment, bre ach of oral contract and intentional infliction of emotional distress, an d claims she is still owed money for her work on I’m Still Here.
A lawyer for the movie immediately hit back at the allegations, saying, "The complaint will be vigorously defended and cross-claims will be file d against her." And now Affleck’s attorney, Marty Singer, has filed legal papers asking for the case to be resolved by arbitrators and away from the Los Angeles courts. The request claims White signed a contract agreeing to settle al l disputes quietly "in arbitration".
According to TMZ.com, White’s lawyers deny their client ever signed suc h an agreement.

JESSICA SIMPSON has emerged as the new favourite to take over from SIMON COWELL as a judge on hit TV talent show AMERICAN IDOL after JUSTIN TIMBER LAKE and SIR ELTON JOHN both rejected the role.

A Broadway musical based on the hits of FRANK SINATRA is set to close in September (10), just seven months after it opened.
Come Fly Away, which launched at New York’s Marquis Theatre in March (1 0), was conceived and brought to life by the award-winning Twyla Tharp an d features a live band with dancers choreographed to the music of Ol’ Blu e Eyes.
But the curtains will fall on the Broadway production for the final tim e on 5 September (10), before the cast and crew embark on a U.S. tour nex t year (11).

Plans for the first ever rap show in a Missouri resort town have been thr own into doubt after city officials denied requests for the required perm its.
Concert promoter Paul Dunn hired hip-hop star Nelly to headline the gig at Branson’s The Grand Palace venue next month (Aug10).
The show was due to be staged in the parking lot of The Grand Palace be cause the interior is undergoing renovations and the back lot can hold up to 6,000 people, compared to the 4,000-capacity of the hall itself.
But city planning director Jim Lawson has turned down the permit applic ation, citing concerns about noise, parking and crowd control.
Dunn has also been accused of promoting the event and selling tickets f or the 21 August (10) concert before even submitting documents to local o fficials, although the promoter insists the latest papers were simply upd ates of ones turned in weeks earlier.

Former supermodel JANICE DICKINSON is convinced there is no such thing as "too much" cosmetic surgery - even though she’s banned her 16-year-old d aughter from ever going under the knife.
The one-time America’s Next Top Model judge is an outspoken advocate fo r cosmetic overhauls, and regularly boasts of her reliance on Botox injec tions to banish wrinkles.
The feisty star is now considering more procedures for herself.
She tells Britain’s Closer magazine, "There’s no such thing as too much .. Whatever it takes to make an individual feel better, I’m all for it. Af ter I had (my son) Nathan my t**s looked like pancakes, so I opted for a boob job. I had the smallest inserts and went up to an A cup. I was like a guy and after I had the inserts, for the first time in my life, I was a ble to fit into a bra. Then in my 40s I signed up for Botox and now have it every six months.
"My advisors say I should get rid of the neck - you can have an incisio n in the back of the neck that will tighten it up. Am I considering it? A lways. I’m going to be the best looking corpse on the planet." But Dickinson is determined not to let her teenage daughter Savannah un dergo surgery to boost her own looks.
She says, "She’s (daughter Savannah) is 16, come on. She’s beautiful an d she knows she can go to yoga with me when she wants to, but the answer to surgery is no.

Former Bond girl GEMMA ARTERTON suffered for her art filming new movie TH E DISAPPEARANCE OF ALICE CREED - she was left with rope burns and cuts af ter playing a defenceless kidnapping victim.
The British actress spent hours gagged and bound on set, but admits tha t while the shoot was at times physically painful, it also allowed her to catch up on her rest as she filmed the majority of her scenes on a bed.
She tells WENN, "Obviously it’s physically draining because I was in a constant state of tension when making the movie…
"I was constantly tied up in myself (sic) and then physically I had tin y rope burns and I started getting these little cuts on my mouth from the ball gag, so they actually loosened the ropes and stuff.
"I’d just come off from doing an action movie so it was so nice to be l aying in bed (tied up)! You know everybody else is pottering around and d oing their thing and I’m just lying there. Sometimes I’d fall asleep whil e they’re setting up the next shot with handcuffs on!" But Arterton insisted on staying tied up in between takes after realisi ng how time consuming and cumbersome it was for producers to keep untying her - and she credits the restrictive shoot with helping her to develop her character.
She says, "It was a hassle (to be untied) to be honest, rather than, ‘I want to be this character’, because I’m not like that. I do like to snap out of it (being in character) and talk. I was just like, ‘Ah don’t worr y about untying me,’ because it would take about 10 minutes to untie, the n retie so I just stayed there. It was easier that way and made the work faster…
"It was really helpful as well because in some of the scenes where I ha d to feel claustrophobic and trapped, the physical restraint really enabl ed and aided the acting." It’s not the first scars Arterton has acquired on a movie set - she was covered in battle wounds from fight scenes for this year’s (10) action b lockbuster Clash of the Titans.

Animal lovers RICKY GERVAIS and PAMELA ANDERSON are thrilled with lawmake rs’ decision to ban bullfighting in Spain’s Catalonia region.
The pair, both dedicated champions of animal rights, have long spoken o ut against the barbaric sport, which sees a matador kill a bull in front of hordes of spectators.
The British comedian backed the proposal by Catalonia’s government to v ote on whether the sport should be banned - and he is "delighted" with th eir decision on Wednesday (28Jul10) to abolish the historical spectacle.
In a statement, Gervais says, "I am absolutely delighted with this resu lt. However, we mustn’t get complacent. There are still many outdated pra ctices around the world that are simply cruel." And Anderson took to her Twitter.com page to make fans aware of the vot e, writing, "Some historic news to report: Catalonia has just today banne d bullfighting!" Other celebrities who joined the call for the ban include Brigitte Bard ot and Latino variety star Charo, who is currently pushing for a similar move in Mexico.

Rapper CHARLES HAMILTON has checked himself into a mental institution in New York.
The rising hip-hop star is alleged to have recently been admitted to Ne w York Presbyterian Mental Hospital to deal with the stress of working in the music industry.
In an interview with Bossip.com, Hamilton claims he voluntarily reached out for help for "peace of mind" after his passion for rhyming began to consume him.
He tells the site, "All I wanted to do and still want to do is make mus ic. It got to the point where I started talking in rhymes all the time, e ven in just regular conversations. And music just became me, so I thought it’d be a good idea if I checked into the hospital just to get my mind r ight." And Hamilton hints that music industry politics is to blame for the mes s of his mental state, comparing showbusiness to a medical institution.
He adds, "My stay here is like identical to my stay in the industry, as far as being the new guy in here having to deal with politics and people trying to control you.
"The critics would have to be the doctors… So you can say this is lik e an experiment to see if the industry is really like an asylum or if I w as the one bugging (going crazy). Some say the industry is like high scho ol but it’s just like a (mental hospital)." Hamilton was previously touted as one of the rising stars of hip-hop bu t his career suffered a blow last year (09) when video footage of his the n-girlfriend punching him in the face surfaced online. He was later dropp ed from Interscope Records after becoming embroiled in a war of words wit h labelmate Soulja Boy.
