GALLAGHER OPENING TEMPORARY STORE IN LONDON
Former OASIS frontman LIAM GALLAGHER is taking his fashion label to Londo n’s famed Carnaby Street - he’s opening a pop-up store in the shopping Me cca.
The rocker launched Pretty Green last summer (Jun09) and the menswear r ange has mainly been available online at very steep prices.
But the musician is ready to offer his collection up to the British pub lic by launching a temporary store on the street which cemented the U.K. capital’s reputation as the fashion capital of the world in the 1960s.
A statement posted on the Pretty Green website reads, "Ever since the s winging 60s Carnaby has been at the heart of the London fashion scene, an d today it is one of the world’s coolest shopping destinations, offering independent boutiques, global fashion brands, unique stores, award-winnin g restaurants and hip nightlife. It’s the place to go for style hunters i n search of something different." The store will open on Friday (30Jul10).
