KENDRICK NOT A PART OF CRUISE/SMITH FILM
UP IN THE AIR star ANNA KENDRICK insists she won’t be a part of TOM CRUIS E and WILL SMITH’s much-anticipated collaborative blockbuster, even thoug h she was among the celebrities who showed up for a top secret table read ing earlier this month (Jul10).
The actress was one of the stars spotted leaving Hollywood diner the Sa ddle Ranch after a meeting with Cruise and Smith - but she claims she was just sitting in for pal Reese Witherspoon.
Kendrick tells TV news show Access Hollywood, "It was just a table read , and you know, it=E2=80=99s a movie that=E2=80=99s in production so I=E2 =80=99m not really at liberty to talk about it.
"I think I can safely say I=E2=80=99m not in it. I=E2=80=99m just stand ing in for Reese Witherspoon. They just asked me to do it and I was like, =E2=80=98Hell, yeah!=E2=80=99 It was fun, it was really fun." (KL/WNVACC
