RIHANNA ‘CONNECTED’ WITH EMINEM’S ABUSE TALE TRACK
RIHANNA was drawn to duet with EMINEM on his powerful new track LOVE THE WAY YOU LIE - because she "connected" with the song’s references to an ab usive relationship.
The Umbrella hitmaker lends her vocals to the rapper’s new single, whic h focuses on domestic violence, and features the lyrics, =E2=80=9CI laid hands on her/I=E2=80=99ll never stoop so low again/I guess I don=E2=80=99 t know my own strength.=E2=80=9D And Rihanna admits she instantly "understood" the song because of her e xperiences with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown - who famously attacked the sing er last year (09).
She tells Access Hollywood, "It=E2=80=99s something that, you know, we=E2 =80=99ve both experienced… on different sides, different ends of the ta ble.
