TWILIGHT star ELIZABETH REASER is hoping to take the summer off and get a tan - because she’s sick of being pale and interesting for the vampire f ilm franchise.
The actress, who plays Cullen family matriarch Esme in the Twilight mov ies, admits she’s has been avoiding beaches and sunny days for the past t hree years - but now she’s been given a break from playing the undead.
She says, "I’d like to maybe get a bit of colour, get some sun… I’ve been wearing SPF 85 for, like, three years now." Reaser insists there’s no ’stay-pale’ clause in her contract - but it’s perfectly clear the producers of the film franchise want their vampires to stay out of the sun.
She adds, "It’s sort of unspoken, but it’s understood. I remember Nikki (Reed) was in Greece, frolicking in the ocean and Wyck Godfrey, the prod ucer, saw a picture of it on the Internet and gave her a call: ‘Nikki, I see you in the sun.’"

Actress MENA SUVARI will spend her honeymoon travelling around Italy with new husband SIMONE SESTITO after the couple exchanged vows in Vatican Ci ty at the weekend (26Jun10).
The American Beauty star wed the music producer in an intimate ceremony at the eighth century Santo Stefano degli Abissini church on Saturday (2 6Jun10).
Suvari admits the ceremony was "very traditional and romantic" and thei r reception was held in the Bracciano castle which hosted the Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ nuptials in 2006.
Suvari and Sestito are currently enjoying their first few days as man a nd wife with friends and family in Rome.
The newlyweds tell People.com, "(Rome) is the true city of romance, and to be able to wed in the Eternal City is all we could have asked for thi s occasion." Suvari reveals they will soon depart for their honeymoon, but they won’ t be leaving Italy - they plan on embarking on a road trip around the cou ntry instead.

Actress BRYCE DALLAS HOWARD had to wear a wig for scenes in THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE - because she didn’t show up on set with her natural ginger look.
The actress fears she may have upset producers after turning up to take over the character Victoria with dyed hair.
She tells WENN, "I think I flew out on a Monday or Tuesday to go and do the role. That Friday (before) I had dyed my hair really dark. My natura l hair colour is kind of like an orange red, which is what’s depicted in the book.
"When I showed up, they (producers) were like, ‘This is not the girl we hired!’ Shooting had to start pretty quickly, so I wore a wig." Howard stepped into the role following the departure of Rachelle Lefevr e.

CHERYL COLE is getting animated - the singer is set to appear in long-run ning British children’s comic THE BEANO.
The 26-year-old pop star will appear as a singing sidekick to bad girl character Minnie the Minx in a series of upcoming summer (10) issues, whi ch will also feature England soccer ace Wayne Rooney.
A Beano spokesman says: "Minnie the Minx will be meeting Cheryl and Way ne in a run of stories which will coincide with the school summer holiday s.
"They are both hugely popular with readers and I’m sure they’ll be thri lled at the prospect of them coming face to face with a British instituti on, in the shape of Minnie." Publishers at D.C. Incarcerated rapper LIL WAYNE has written a touching online tribute to a select group of fans to personally thank them for their loyal support.
The hip-hop star, who is currently serving a year-long sentence in a Ne w York prison after pleading guilty to gun possession charges, posted his third letter to fans on his website, WeezyThanxYou.com, on M onday (28Jun10).
In the message, Wayne gives a short update about his life behind bars, calling himself "blessed", and thanks fans for sending pictures and lette rs of encouragement to his prison cell on Rikers Island.
He writes, "On my end, I’m alive, breathing and blessed. You already kn ow how I’m passing time - reading and working out." Lil Wayne goes on to respond with personal messages to 100 individuals who have offered their support.
Directing a message to supporters Ashley and Lil Mackenzie, he writes: "First, I thank you for your thoughts and prayers. I would also like you to know that your letter touched my heart… Send our deepest love to you and Lil Mack." Wayne also heaped praise on his artists Drake and Nicki Minaj, who he p roclaims "made me proud" at Sunday night’s (27Jun10) BET Awards, with the stars claiming the Best Male Hip-Hop Artist and Best Female Hip-Hop Arti st titles, respectively.

The TV composer behind the CHARLIE’S ANGELS theme song has died, aged 85.
Allyn Ferguson passed away at his home in Westlake Village, near Los An geles, on 23 June (10), his daughter Jill Ferguson has confirmed.
The songwriter rose to fame in the 1970s and ’80s, composing tunes for a variety of TV shows.
But he will perhaps be best remembered for coming up with the scores fo r Charlie’s Angels and Barney Miller, tracks he composed with collaborato r Jack Elliott.
Ferguson’s work earned him six Emmy nominations throughout his career a nd he was awarded the prize for music composition in 1985 for a TV adapta tion of literary classic Camille.
He is survived by his wife Joline, daughter Jill and sons Dan and Todd, as well as six grandchildren, according to the Associated Press. (MT/WNW

An associate of rap group THREE 6 MAFIA has been indicted on murder and d rug charges in Memphis, Tennessee.
Craig Petties, the half-brother of producer/rapper DJ Paul Beauregard, is accused of running a major drug ring from Queretaro, Mexico, dealing h undreds of kilos of cocaine and marijuana throughout Memphis and other So uthern U.S. states.
The cartel was reportedly set up in 1995 and ran until 2008.
Petties has been charge with a total of 50 counts, including drug distr ibution. He is also being held responsible for the murders of six people related to the drug trade.
The suspect was originally indicted in 2002 but escaped imprisonment an d went into hiding, turning him into one of America’s most wanted fugitiv es.
Petties has pleaded not guilty to the charges and is facing the death p enalty if convicted.

Plans to erect a MICHAEL JACKSON statue in the Czech Republic have been m et with criticism by locals, who argue the late King of Pop had no real c onnection to the country.
City officials in Prague have approved a request by a group of Jackson fans to place a six foot (1.83 metre) tall tribute to the Thriller hitmak er in Letna Park, where the singer performed in 1996.
The column, featuring a bronze bust of the superstar, was due to be unv eiled on what would have been Jackson’s 52nd birthday on 29 August (10).
But thousands of Czech residents are angry at the prospect of having a statue of the singer in Prague and local art gallery bosses have proposed installing a piece of work by a contemporary Czech artist instead.
Jackson died a year ago last Friday (25Jun10).

British comedian RUSSELL BRAND is set to make a triumphant return to the airwaves - the funnyman is reportedly in talks to host his own U.S. radio show.
Bosses at Sirius Radio have reportedly offered Brand a multi-million do llar deal to host his own segment on the satellite station, which boasts shows by Jamie Foxx, Eminem and shock jock Howard Stern.
A source tells Britain’s The Sun newspaper: "The Sirius deal is in its infancy but Russell is well up for it. He has been given the hard sell ab out how they could make him the new Howard Stern." Brand’s last foray into radio ended in disgrace when he was forced to q uit his popular show on the U.K.’s BBC Radio 2. The photographers LINDSAY LOHAN accused of giving her the wrong "call tim e" for a televised shoot have fired back at the actress for branding them liars.
Markus Klinko and Indrani were left waiting for the Mean Girls star whe n she was "majorly late" for a session, which was being filmed for the co uple’s U.S. reality TV show Double Exposure - but Lohan insists the drama was enhanced for TV.
The actress took to Twitter.com to tell fans she was "set up".
She wrote, "(It) sucks when ‘friends’ use you (in this case for ratings ) even if they’re lying… I was given the wrong call time - now I know o n purpose… it was a set-up. Klinko tells Eonline.com, "We just don’t understand why she said that." Indrani adds, "I was really upset by her take on things. Funnyman LARRY DAVID agreed to a starring role in WOODY ALLEN’s new movie WHATEVER WORKS on one condition - he flatly refused to kiss Hollywood be auty EVAN RACHEL WOOD.
The Curb Your Enthusiasm star, 62, was approached by Allen to appear al ongside the 22-year-old actress in the romantic comedy.
But David was so concerned about their age difference, he pored over th e film’s script to make sure there were no love scenes between the pair.

That I couldn’t have done. I wouldn’t have kissed her." KYLIE MINOGUE regrets not pushing record company bosses to allow songs ab out her cancer battle on her last album, X - because she poured her heart and soul into the emotional tracks.
The Aussie superstar was diagnosed with cancer in 2005 and underwent in tensive chemotherapy treatment, which caused her to lose her hair.
As soon as it grew back, Minogue headed into the studio and spent "insa ne, emotional" sessions recording with producer pal Biff Stannard.
But label bosses rejected the personal tracks for inclusion on her 2007 album X - and Minogue admits she’ll always regret not convincing them to change their minds.
She tells Britain’s Attitude magazine, "As soon as I could get back in the studio, I went with hair not a centimetre long, I ran in there with B iff and we did five days of insane, emotional… the two of us will never forget it.
"I’d written songs about my experience, my illness, and they didn’t mak e the album, I even don’t know why. If they just weren’t good enough song s, or the record company didn’t think they were appropriate, I don’t know .. So there’s a little regret about that."
