SWIFT IS ANIMATED FOR COMIC BOOK

TAYLOR SWIFT’s life story has been turned into a 25-page comic book.
The country sweetheart has been animated for Fame: Taylor Swift, which chronicles her childhood and her rise to superstardom.
The Bluewater productions comic also features her screen kiss with one- time boyfriend Taylor Lautner in Valentine’s Day and her infamous 2009 MT V Video Music Awards stage encounter with rapper Kanye West.
The comic book is part of a series of graphic biographies featuring the stories of soccer star David Beckham, former U.S. First Lady Hillary Cli nton, and Lady Gaga.

GRAY PUSHED INTO ‘AWFUL’ DANCING SLOT BY MUM

MACY GRAY won’t be taking her mum’s career advice again after she urged h er to appear on U.S. TV show DANCING WITH THE STARS - even though the I T RY singer was a terrible dancer.
Gray was humiliated and devastated when she became the first female cel ebrity to be kicked off the 2009 season of the hit TV contest, and she in sists she warned everyone she had no rhythm.
She tells Grazia magazine, "My mother talked me into going on Dancing W ith Stars. It was awful. She said, ‘You should try new things.’ She gave the whole speech and I fell for it. And the money’s nice. So I thought f* *k it. I’m gonna do it.
"I told everybody I’m a terrible dancer but nobody believed me. Until I was kicked out first! Oh God, I proved it."

RAPPER WALL: ‘WEIGHTLOSS SURGERY SAVED MY LIFE’

Rapper PAUL WALL has lost 100 pounds (45 kilograms) in weight after under going surgery for a quick fix to his "morbid" obesity.
The Grillz star reveals his unhealthy lifestyle caused him to pack on t he pounds after rising to fame in 2005, and by the end of 2009, he tipped the scales at 320 pounds (145 kilograms).
He attempted to turn his life around and embarked on a new diet and exe rcise regime but Wall struggled to see any results - so he decided to go under the knife and get gastric sleeve surgery, which shrinks the size of the stomach.
He tells BallerStatus.com, "I tried doing it the legit way. I stopped t aking pills… all that, but it ain’t work (sic). So I went out, went on and got surgery man." Wall admits the surgery literally saved his life - because he had no id ea how serious of a health problem his ballooning weight had become.
He says, "(The surgery) saved my life for real. I really didn’t have to o much of a choice, because the doctor told me I was morbidly obese… I was like ‘Man, I’m morbidly obese, I need to do something. Man, I got to save my life.’" And Wall, who now sports a much slimmer frame, can’t wait to get back t o work promoting his new album Heart of a Champion.
He adds, "I lost 100 pounds, so I’m back at my fight weight. I’m ready.
The champ is back."

EMINEM PLAYS SECRET NEW YORK SHOWS

EMINEM burned up the streets of New York on Monday (21Jun10) for two top secret shows to launch his new album RECOVERY.
The rapper kicked off the day by performing with Jay-Z on the rooftop o f the Ed Sullivan Theatre for a taped performance that will air on The La te Show with David Letterman on Friday (25Jun10).
Eminem then capped a busy day of promotions with a show at New York’s B owery Ballroom on Monday night for an impromptu show, dubbed Red Bull EmS ee: The Road to 8 Mile.
Eminem performed Despicable Freestyle and two new songs from Recovery.

JOE JACKSON HAS MOVED FORWARD WITH WRONGFUL DEATH SUIT

MICHAEL JACKSON’s father has followed through on his threat to sue the Ki ng of Pop’s physician for wrongful death.
Joe Jackson’s lawyer Brian Oxman has sent Dr. Conrad Murray a documente d prerequisite to filing a wrongful death lawsuit, insisting the medic ha d been drinking hours before he allegedly administered a fatal dose of an aesthetic Propofol to the pop star a year ago (25Jun10).
Oxman writes, "Prior to treating Michael Jackson, (the) defendant was a t a strip club called Sam’s Hofbrau in Los Angeles where he had been drin king." In the document, obtained by TMZ.com, the lawyer states, "It was reckle ss for him to drink prior to administering anaesthesia to Michael Jackson .. He concealed his conduct from Michael Jackson." Joe Jackson also instructed Oxman to list the medical conditions he fee ls his son suffered due to the "polypharmacy" of drugs administered to hi m by Murray.
The attorney suggests Michael Jackson suffered "neurological, pulmonary , and anaemia signs over several weeks prior to his death," adding, "In M ay and June, 2009, Michael Jackson was confused, easily frightened, unabl e to remember, obsessive, and disoriented… He had impaired memory, loss of appetite, and absence of energy. He was cold and shivering." Oxman also alleges the physician "ignored the signs of Michael Jackson’ s pulmonary inflammation, brain swelling, and anaemia" in the documents.
Alleging the doctor lied about the drugs he administered to Jackson and withheld vital information from emergency medics who tried to revive the singer at his Los Angeles home, Oxman states, "His conduct was inhuman. It was an extreme violation of the standard of care." The website reveals Dr. Murray received a copy of the document in March (10). His legal team tells TMZ, "The allegations are absolute, utter non sense."

SPEARS CONCERT REMINDED FANNING OF STARSTRUCK STORE MOMENT

DAKOTA FANNING was thrilled to catch BRITNEY SPEARS’ Circus tour last yea r (09), insisting it was like reliving the time she bumped into the singe r as a child.

Fanning had her first celebrity moment in a California store after movi ng to the state - when she first met the Toxic superstar.

PATTINSON: ‘THERE’S NO HIDDEN MORMON MESSAGE IN TWILIGHT BOOKS’

ROBERT PATTINSON has dismissed ongoing reports suggesting TWILIGHT author STEPHENIE MEYER hides Mormon philosophy through the books in the hope of turning youngsters to the religion.
Critics and fans alike claim the final book in the Twilight series, Bre aking Dawn, is particularly heavy with Mormon ideals - the tome preaches the idea of pro-life after heroine Bella decides to keep a baby even thou gh the pregnancy threatens her life.
But Pattinson, who plays the baby’s vampire father Edward Cullen in the movie adaptation of the book, insists people are reading way too much in to Meyer’s stories.
He tells EW.com, "I think people make up all these Mormon references ju st so they can publish Twilight articles in respectable publications like the New York Times. Even Stephenie said it doesn=E2=80=99t mean any of t hat. It is based on a dream."

COLEMAN SOUGHT RESTRAINING ORDER AGAINST EX-WIFE IN FEBRUARY

SHANNON PRICE’s bid to get her hands on her ex-husband GARY COLEMAN’s bel ongings following his death has taken another blow - newly-obtained legal papers show he sought a restraining order against his former wife just t hree months before his death.
The late actor alleged Price was trespassing in his Santaquin, Utah hom e while he was hospitalised following heart surgery and he filed sealed p apers in an effort to get the redhead forcibly removed from the premises.
In the February (10) document, obtained by People.com, the Diff’rent St rokes star wrote, "I am concerned that irreplaceable memorabilia, irrepla ceable model trains, irreplaceable items of personal property will be sto len, damaged or destroyed." He added, "(Price) has shown a tendency to damage, destroy and steal my property and I believe she will continue to do so in my absence and whil e she is trespassing in my home." Price is currently battling Coleman’s longtime friend Anna Gray for con trol of his estate. Gray was named the executor of his estate in a 2005 w ill. Price has submitted a handwritten note, which she insists makes her the executor of her ex-husband’s estate.
A Utah judge has placed attorney Robert Jeffs in charge of the late sta r’s affairs until the validity of the two women’s claims can be determine d.

JENNIFER GARNER’s representative has dismissed reports the Hollywood actr ess is expecting her third child with husband BEN AFFLECK.
The Elektra star, 38, has two daughters with Affleck - Violet, four, an d one-year-old Seraphina - and sparked speculation she was pregnant again after she was snapped on several recent occasions wearing baggy clothes.
But Garner’s spokesperson has denied the claims, telling People.com, "J ennifer is absolutely not pregnant."

LOVE STILL UPSET WITH VANITY FAIR ARTICLE

COURTNEY LOVE has taken aim at the journalist M.I.A. attacked last month (May10) for the 1992 Vanity Fair article she wrote which vilified her and husband KURT COBAIN and suggested they were unfit parents.
Now a New York Times columnist, Lynn Hirschberg hit the headlines herse lf in May when M.I.A. listed her direct phone number and criticised her i n the lyrics of an online tune after the writer penned an unflattering pr ofile piece about the hip-hop star.
And it wasn’t the first time Hirschberg has upset a music star - Love h as lashed out at her in a new Behind The Music special.
The journalist’s famous Vanity Fair article caused a furore because she quoted Love stating she had taken heroin while pregnant with daughter Fr ances Bean.
Love says, "She tore my world apart, tore Kurt’s world apart. It was ho rrible what she did." The rocker insists she stopped taking drugs as soon as she discovered s he was pregnant.
She fought back tears on the TV special, which debuted in America on Mo nday (21Jun10), when she recalled reading the Vanity Fair article for the first time.
She revealed, "I read it and, like, f**k me the earth changed and his ( Cobain) earth changed. A lot of things killed him and that (article) kill ed him too." The piece prompted child service officials in Los Angeles to intervene when the couple’s baby was born prematurely weeks later - and declare lit tle Frances Bean would be safer in foster care.
Love’s former manager Janet Billig says, "(I was like) ‘You’re gonna re ad Vanity Fair and then come and take away this baby from loving parents that could actually take care of their child." The rocker recalls, "That was suicidally horrible, that situation with Frances." To avoid losing the child to foster care, Kurt and Courtney had to hand over guardianship of their daughter to Love’s half-sister Jamiee (corr).
The sibling, now Jamiee King, recalls, "It was very difficult; they rea lly loved that child." Meanwhile Love and Cobain were forced to undergo regular drug testing a nd could not be left alone with Frances Bean.

GABRIEL COVERS WAITS FOR AFRICAN REFUGEES

PETER GABRIEL has covered TOM WAITS’ IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD to raise awarene ss for refugees caught up in war zones like Uganda and the Congo.
The Voice Project is an extension of Gabriel’s recent Scratch My Back i nitiative, during which the British rocker and humanitarian recorded an a lbum of cover songs with an orchestra and toured with it.
Now a group of like-minded artists hopes to record each other’s tunes, inspired by a small group of widows and rape survivors in Uganda, who sta rted singing songs in an effort to send musical messages of forgiveness t o those abducted and forced to fight, many of whom hide in the bush, afra id to return home.
Gabriel says, "I love the idea that a song can reach people that can’t be touched in any other way." He felt it was the perfect opportunity to perform one of his favourite songs: "I’ve wanted to sing Tom Waits’ In the Neighborhood for a long tim e and this was a great opportunity." Waits is so impressed with the cover, he has posted video of Gabriel pe rforming it on his official website.

LOVE SOBS ABOUT COBAIN MEMORIES

COURTNEY LOVE teared up in a new documentary about her life as she recall ed the start of her romance with late husband KURT COBAIN.
But it wasn’t out of fondness for the tragic Nirvana frontman - she was recalling the pain of their courtship.
In the Behind The Music special, which debuted in America on Monday (21 Jun10), Love confessed she struggled to cope with criticism levelled at h er and her lover’s wild ways.
Love explains, "It’s really hard sometimes when everyone in the world i s picking on you and that’s what started happening… That really, really hurt my feelings; it was horrible. It took a long time to adapt to it an d that was trauma… I didn’t ask to be hated." And she started sobbing again when she recalled the extent of her suici dal husband’s drug use: "He’d pass out and seek oblivion and I’d have to f**king slap him and put pins in his balls and put ice cubes everywhere a nd it started to p**s me off… I started resenting that; I didn’t like b eing a nursemaid." And she didn’t get a lot of help: "He once overdosed on the floor in fr ont of his mother and sister and I went to do all the s**t you do when so meone overdoses and I look up and they’d taken off."

KILLERS SHOOTS TO TOP OF U.K. BOX OFFICE

BELLO SLIPS BACK INTO SMOKING HABIT

Actress MARIA BELLO has started smoking again, just months after kicking her longtime nicotine addiction.
The health-conscious Coyote Ugly star, 43, thought she had managed to q uit for good last November (09) after undergoing a series of hypnotherapy sessions.
She said, "I quit for a year, started again for a month, and then… I went to a hypnotist - and now I’m not smoking. It’s my one horrible addic tion. You can’t believe it’s working because you think, ‘This is ridiculo us, it’s not going to work…’ And then it works." But Bello admits she has since slipped back into her old routine and no w the bad habit is costing her big - because she agreed to pay her nine-y ear-old son Jack cash every time she is caught with a cigarette, or whene ver she swears.
She says, "I started smoking a little bit again. I quit and now it’s li ke four or five (cigarettes) a day. And I owe Jack money for that - every time he sees a cigarette in my purse and everytime I curse. I owe him li ke, $300 (=C2=A3200)!"
