Funnyman BEN STILLER is celebrating after his online charity campaign rai sed $50,000 (=C2=A333,300) to build a school in Haiti.
The Meet the Fockers star agreed a deal with bosses at Yahoo, who pledg ed to give the actor $1 (=C2=A30.67) for every Twitter.com user who click ed on an online photo he posted of himself at the Cannes Lions advertisin g festival in France.
Executives at the internet company will now hand over a $50,000 cheque for a temporary school to be constructed in the earthquake-ravaged countr y.
In a post on his Twitter account, Stiller writes, "Hey - woke up in Eur ope to learn we reached our goal of 50 thousand shares - THANK YOU!! Yaho o will build us a school in Haiti."

KEVIN COSTNER hopes he eventually becomes best-known for his part in the oil spill clean-up in the Gulf of Mexico - because he would rather be rec ognised for his environmental work than his movie career.
The Hollywood actor has sold an oil-filtration system to bosses at BP i n a bid to minimise the damage caused by the massive slick, which has bee n drifting ashore on America’s Gulf Coast since a rig ruptured in April ( 10).
British Petroleum bosses have bought 32 filtration machines manufacture d by the movie star’s Costner Industries Nevada Corporation and invented by his brother Dan.
And Costner hopes he will one day become more famous for his work devel oping the innovative technology than his acting.
He tells veteran newsman Larry King, "When I die, I hope that on my hea dstone… it would just say ‘And he made movies, too.’ "I don’t define myself by just the movies. I have had a wonderful life.

"I thought if I could bring what I have, which is a dreaming mentality and the money that I have been able to amass, I would throw it at this pr oblem and I could make a difference.

GEORGE MICHAEL is heading Down Under - the pop superstar has paid $4.5 mi llion (=C2=A33 million) for a luxury home in Sydney.
The Faith hitmaker was photographed enjoying the Australian sun in the coastal city in February (10) while on tour, and is said to have fallen i n love with the area.
According to Britain’s The Sun newspaper, Michael enjoyed his time ther e so much, he’s decided to split his time between London and Sydney, wher e he has invested in a beachfront property.

The businessman who helped KATHERINE JACKSON publish a new MICHAEL JACKSO N picture book insists the music matriarch is not a rich woman - despite inheriting 40 per cent of her superstar son’s estate.
The 80 year old has teamed up with entrepreneur Howard Mann to publish a tribute tome about the late King of Pop called Never Can Say Goodbye: T he Katherine Jackson Archives.
And despite claiming Katherine received a record-breaking pay cheque fo r the project, Mann insists she is battling to stay financially afloat du e to the debt Jackson left behind after his death a year ago (25Jun10).
Mann tells EOnline.com, "(Katherine Jackson has) a deal more lucrative than any other author signed to a publishing deal before.
"(But) the reality is that after having met her and spent time with her , she is not raking in the money, because the estate really has to servic e a tremendous amount of debt. I am sure the trustees and administrators are required to pay that first and foremost, and it just hasn’t led to a substantial cash position for Katherine." Mann’s claims come just days after it was revealed Jackson’s estate has generated almost $1 billion in revenue since the pop superstar’s shock d eath.

FAT JOE’s lawyer has categorically denied the hip-hop star and his crew i nappropriately groped a woman following a concert on Sunday (20Jun10).
The Lean Back rapper was detained by cops in Madison, Wisconsin at the weekend (19-20Jun10) following a complaint in the early hours of Monday ( 21Jun10) from a woman who alleged she was sexually assaulted by Joe and h is entourage.
The unnamed female claimed she was the victim of "inappropriate touchin g" during a limo ride with Joe - real name Joseph Cartagena - and his pal s following a gig in the city.
The star was released without charge after several hours of questioning , while police continue to investigate the allegations.
Cartagena’s lawyer Dawn Florio has spoken out to defend the rapper, bra nding the woman’s claim "false".
She tells AllHipHop.com, "At no point did Mr. Cartagena or any member o f his entourage assault or have any improper contact with the woman.

FAITH HILL and TIM MCGRAW’s star-studded benefit concert raised an estima ted $3 million (=C2=A32 million) to help Tennessee’s flood victims rebuil d their communities.
The country supercouple fronted the Nashville Rising charity gig at the city’s Bridgestone Arena on Tuesday night (22Jun10) to raise money for t hose affected by the recent flooding in the region.

Former drug kingpin RICKY ROSS is set to summon JAY-Z to testify in court as part of his copyright showdown with hip-hop star RICK ROSS.
The rapper, born William Leonard Roberts II, has been accused of adopti ng his stage name from the former cocaine trafficker, who became infamous for running a drug empire in Los Angeles in the 1980s.
Ross warned Roberts he would face a court battle if he did not change h is moniker before the release of his upcoming album, and the ex-convict h as kept his word - Ross’ legal team filed a trademark infringement lawsui t on Friday (18Jun10) in the California U.S. District Court.
According to AllHipHop.com, Ross will ask rap legend Jay-Z to testify i n the case as the 99 Problems hitmaker was the boss of Def Jam records wh en Roberts was signed to the label in 2006.

AMERICAN BEAUTY producer BRUCE COHEN has signed up to take charge of the 2011 Academy Awards.
The film mastermind, who won an Oscar for the 1999 drama, will join TV events guru Don Mischer in producing the 83rd annual telecast.
Mischer, who will also direct Hollywood’s biggest industry night, has p reviously helmed TV’s Emmy Awards, several Super Bowl half-time shows as well as the opening ceremonies of Winter and Summer Olympics Games.
Cohen says, "I fell in love with the Oscars as an eight-year-old kid, t he night my grandmothers let me stay up to watch for the first time.
"It is a dream come true for me to now be producing the show with the p henomenal Don Mischer, whom I’ve had an incredible time working with in t he past.
