MARY-KATE and ASHLEY OLSEN’s father has filed for bankruptcy and is facin g foreclosure on his California home, according to a U.S. report.
David Olsen, who fathered the billionaire twins with his first wife Jam ie, has fallen behind on payments for his property in Tarzana and owes th e bank almost $2.2 million (=C2=A31.47 million).
According to documents obtained by the National Enquirer, the stars’ da d and his second wife McKenzie will be forced out of the house on 9 July (10) if they fail to settle their debt and the property will be sold off at a public auction.
But it’s not the first time Olsen Sr. has faced financial difficulty - he reportedly struggled to cover his tax debts last year (09) too.
An insider tells the Enquirer, "David almost lost his home in 2009 beca use he had several tax liens but managed to borrow enough money to cover them. Executives at the PCC ruled in Morgan’s favour, insisting the former ne wspaper boss did not breach the Editors’ Code of Practice.

Teenage reality TV star ALEXIS NEIERS has begun her 180-day jail stint fo r stealing from actor ORLANDO BLOOM’s Hollywood Hills home.
The Pretty Wild star, 18, surrendered to authorities on Thursday (24Jun 10).
Neiers was sentenced after pleading no contest to a single count of fir st-degree residential burglary. She had been scheduled to go to trial thi s month (Jun10) on a felony burglary charge. If she had been convicted, s he could have faced a six-year prison sentence.

KATHERINE JACKSON’s new business partner has threatened to sue the execut ors of the King of Pop’s estate for allegedly attempting to discredit the book he has co-authored about MICHAEL JACKSON.
The Jackson family matriarch teamed up with Howard Mann to publish a co ffee table book called Never Can Say Goodbye: The Katherine Jackson Archi ves, which went on sale this week (begs21Jun10) to mark the first anniver sary of the singer’s death (25Jun10).
Mann recently came under fire from a lawyer representing the superstar’ s estate, insisting the businessman had no right to make money from Micha el Jackson’s legacy.
Howard Weitzman, an attorney for the Jackson estate, accused him of "us ing his relationship with Mrs. Jackson to infringe upon Michael Jackson’s copyrights" and "exploit any estate assets", vowing to take whatever act ion is necessary to prevent him from unlawfully profiting".
But Mann’s lawyer has fired back in the war of words and is now threate ning legal action against the estate officials for bad-mouthing his clien t’s firm and attempting to damage the book’s sale potential.
Mann’s legal representative tells TMZ.com, "The comments by the lawyers for the Estate of Michael Jackson are designed to create fear and ambigu ity and may impede our ability to maximize the profits that Vintage Pop ( the publisher) and the beneficiaries of the Estate are entitled to enjoy.
"These actions are torturous interference and will NOT be accepted and will result (in) litigation to recover the damages against our company."

The new-look JANE’S ADDICTION will make only their second public appearan ce since recruiting DUFF MCKAGAN on bass at a top secret, fan-only event in Hollywood next week (beg28Jun10).
