U.S. soccer ace LANDON DONOVAN has become the latest sports star caught u p in a paternity scandal after a British woman alleged he fathered her un born baby.
The goal scorer, who was booted out of the World Cup at the weekend aft er Ghana beat the U.S.A., hasn’t denied rumours he’s the father.
Speaking to SportsIllustrated.com, he says, "I was informed of the poss ibility during the World Cup, and, if I need to take responsibility, then I will provide the appropriate support. This is a private matter, and I will refrain from further comment at this time." The scandal could wreck a rumoured reconciliation with estranged wife, actress Bianca Kajlich.
Donovan blew his wife a kiss during a post-game World Cup interview, pr ompting fans to speculate about the couple’s relationship. The soccer sta r also called Kajlich immediately after Team U.S.A. beat Algeria to win a place in the final 16 of the South African tournament. He scored the goa l that won the game.
Unfortunately, the penalty he scored against Ghana on Saturday (26Jun10 ) was not enough to keep the U.S. in the competition - they lost the game 2-1.

ANGELINA JOLIE is convinced her daughter SHILOH "wants to be a boy" - bec ause the youngster begs her mother to cut her hair short and buy her male clothing.
The four year old was Jolie’s first biological child with her partner B rad Pitt, and in recent months has been seen sporting a cropped haircut i n place of her long blonde locks, and wearing more masculine outfits.
Shiloh’s new look won the couple praise from parenting coaches, who app lauded them for allowing the youngster to express herself.
Jolie admits her daughter is completely obsessed with her boyish appear ance, telling Vanity Fair magazine, "(Shiloh dresses) like a little dude.
Shiloh, we feel, has Montenegro style. It’s how people dress there. She likes tracksuits, she likes (regular) suits. She likes to dress like a bo y. She wants to be a boy. So we had to cut her hair. She likes to wear bo ys’ everything. She thinks she’s one of the brothers." But the actress isn’t worried about the youngster, insisting she was mu ch the same when she was Shiloh’s age.
She adds, "(She’s) goofy and verbal, the early signs of a performer… I used to get dressed up in costumes and jump around. But at some point, I got closed off, darker. I don’t remember anything happening. I think yo u just get hit with the realities of certain things in life, think too mu ch, start to realise the world isn’t as you wished it would be, so you de epen. Then, as I had kids and got older - being goofy, lighter - it all c ame back."

Actor COREY FELDMAN received a standing ovation at the MICHAEL JACKSON me morial gala in Beverly Hills on Saturday (26Jun10) as he stepped on stage to forgive the late King of Pop for the incident that ended their friend ship.
The Lost Boys star joined comedian Eddie Griffin, actor Mickey Rooney a nd members of the Jackson family at the Beverly Hilton hotel event, held a day after the first anniversary of the Thriller star’s death, and he wa s in a forgiving mood.
Feldman told attendees that he and Jackson hadn’t spoken for the last e ight years of the pop star’s life and now the actor deeply regrets not ta king his phone calls as he attempted to "reach out" and mend their broken friendship.
He said, "Michael and I were friends, really close friends for about 18 years… (but) it was eight years before he passed away that we didn’t s peak; we had a bit of a falling out and, when we had that falling out, I held a grudge… and eight years passed and suddenly he was gone.
"Michael made efforts to reach out to me during that period of time… I did not. I was holding firm.
"But, what I learned is that forgiveness is the most important thing in this world. I can never ever let go of the fact that I didn’t get the ch ance to say goodbye, or give Michael a hug or tell him again that I loved him, so I’m taking that opportunity right now, to say, ‘Michael, I forgi ve you, I hope you forgive me and I love you.’"

KYLIE MINOGUE is adamant her raunchy routine in the promo for her track A LL THE LOVERS wasn’t planned - the director changed his mind about her ou tfit hours before filming.
The singer famously rejuvenated her career in 2000 by wearing a pair of tight, gold hotpants in the video for her single Spinning Around.
After vowing to cover up in future, she then caused a stir in May (10) when she frolicked in a skimpy, slashed dress and knee-high boots in her All the Lovers promo, surrounded by semi-naked men and women.
But Minogue insists she had planned a more sombre image for the shoot - and was asked to don sexier clothes by the director.
She tells U.K. TV show This Morning, "When I get to Los Angeles for the video shoot, the director says ‘No, actually I don’t want you in a long black dress, I want you in something white and something really tiny.’ So - pants and boots! Oh God, here we go again!"

ALICIA KEYS has credited her love of music with steering her away from a life of crime after seeing several of her school pals spiral into drug ad diction.
The No One hitmaker grew up in the notorious Hell’s Kitchen area of New York City and admits she fell in with a bad crowd.
But after seeing somebody shot in front of her as a teen, Keys decided to focus on her love of music and family life.
She says, "When I was about 13 or 14, I was in the street when someone got shot in a gang situation. What was difficult was that in my group of friends, some went the way of gangs and drugs and others didn’t. You coul dn’t blame those that did because we were surrounded by it. It was what t hey knew, all they knew.
"I was lucky that I had my mother, my grandmother and my music. I was a tough kid but I didn’t want that to be my future. It makes me sad to thi nk that some of my friends had no escape."

OZZY OSBOURNE thrilled fans with a homecoming show in his native Birmingh am, England on Saturday (26Jun10) - his first gig at the city’s Town Hall in almost 40 years.
The rocker played an intimate concert for 400 loyal fans to mark the re lease of his new album, Scream, on Monday (28Jun10).
Taking a break from his set, he told the crowd, "The last time I played this gig was f**king 1972. It’s good to be back in Birmingham!" Osbourne played Let Me Hear You Scream, the lead track from his new alb um, as well as a string of Black Sabbath hits including Paranoid and Iron Man.

SHERYL CROW enjoyed a touching moment with her son WYATT at a gig in Cana da on Sunday night (27Jun10), bringing the youngster onstage to dance alo ng to her hit EVERY DAY IS A WINDING ROAD.
The singer performed at the McMahon Stadium in Calgary, Canada as part of the Lilith Fair 2010 tour, and she thrilled the audience at the end of her set by introducing the three-year-old.
Wyatt, wearing protective headphones, danced by his mother’s side as sh e played her hit track.
Crowe recently adopted a second son, Levi, and both boys are travelling with the star on the tour.

KIMBERLY WYATT has opened up about the alleged abuse she suffered as a ch ild - admitting the traumatic experience ruined her relationship with her parents because they didn’t want to "deal with" her claims.
The former Pussycat Dolls star went public with the allegations last ye ar (09), claiming she was molested as a toddler while her mother and fath er travelled around the U.S. as truckers.
She claims her parents refused to listen to her when she confided in th em about the alleged abuse - and Wyatt is convinced it had a lasting impa ct on her life.
She tells Britain’s Celebs on Sunday magazine, "I really lacked self co nfidence for a lot of my life. There’s so much I went through as a kid th at really held me back. I’m not very close to my family, a lot has happen ed between us.
"I’ve been molested… The problem was the way my parents dealt with it .. They chose partying over maybe my safety at times. When I tried to talk to them about they were like, ‘We don’t even want to hear it, cos we don ‘t want to deal with it.’ "It was up to me to cope, and I don’t know how (I did). That had a lot to do with me going off (working on cruise ships) at such an early age. D ancing saved me." However, Wyatt admits that after several sessions with a therapist, she ’s grown closer to her mother and father.
The 28 year old adds, "The therapist broke me down, so I could then pic k up the pieces. Finally, when I was honest and could tell my parents ‘Th is is why I feel this way’, it sparked a new beginning in my relationship with them. Now my relationship with them is getting better every day. I actually spoke to my Dad recently, and we don’t speak a whole lot. It’s g reat for them that we can start over."

JERMAINE JACKSON is calling for his brother MICHAEL’s body to be moved to "a monument" in Washington, D.C. - so fans can pay their respects to the music legend.
The King of Pop was interred into the Forest Lawn Cemetery memorial in Glendale, California following his death last year (09).
But Jermaine dislikes his brother’s "cold" burial site - and wants his sibling moved to a more appropriate place in Washington, D.C. with a last ing reminder of the star.
He tells Larry King Live, "He needs to be somewhere special. Larry, I r eally feel that with what my brother has done just for people all around the world, there should be something special.
"A monument in D.C. for Michael Jackson. Not because of the music, beca use of the message in the music, and how it touched so many people. That’ s what it should be."

More than 100 revellers were admitted to hospital in Los Angeles over the weekend (26-27Jun10) as fans scrambled to gain access to a festival head lined by dance star MOBY.
Approximately 114 people were injured during the two-day Electric Daisy Carnival, held at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and Exposition Park, with officials claiming many of the accidents occurred as crowds rushed the gates and barriers in a bid to force their way into the event.
Paramedics treated some of the injured on-site, while many were taken t o local hospitals. No deaths have been reported, according to the Los Ang eles Times.
The festival, which saw sets from Moby, Steve Aoki and Deadmau5, drew a crowd of 185,000.
Britain’s Glastonbury festival over the weekend was also marred by inju ry - more than 2,100 people were treated by medical teams, many for dehyd ration and sunburn, while two people died on-site after suffering heart a ttacks.
However, there was one uplifting medical emergency from the event - one woman went into labour. She was whisked off to hospital to give birth be fore returning, with the baby, to enjoy the remainder of the festival in south-west England.

Mexican singer SERGIO VEGA has been killed in a gunfight just hours after he dismissed false online reports of his own death.
The 40-year-old star, who was also known as El Shaka, was gunned down o n his way to a concert in Sinaloa, Mexico on Saturday night (26Jun10). Th e musician is said to have been murdered by unknown gunmen who targeted V ega’s red Cadillac and shot him dead after the vehicle crashed to a halt, according to the BBC.
He was killed just hours after he gave an interview to entertainment we bsite La Oreja in which he silenced online gossip which suggested he had been murdered.
Vega told the website, "It’s happened to me for years now, someone tell s a radio station or a newspaper I’ve been killed, or suffered an acciden t. And then I have to call my dear mum, who has heart trouble, to reassur e her." Vega, who played with his band Sergio Vega y Sus Shakas Del Norte, was known for his controversial narcocorridos music, which often features lyr ics celebrating the lives of drugs barons.
He is said to have increased his security following the 2007 murder of Sergio Gomez, lead singer of K-Paz de la Sierra.
Police in Mexico are investigating the killing and are said to have lin ked Vega’s death to local drugs gangs.

JERMAINE JACKSON defied several family members to perform at his brother MICHAEL’s memorial - after his mother KATHERINE gave her blessing for him to sing.
The Jackson family headed up a star-studded ceremony to pay their last respects to the Thriller hitmaker in July (09) following his shock death on 25 June (09).
Jermaine sang an emotional rendition of Smile, his sibling’s favourite song, at the memorial at Los Angeles’ Staples Center - but he admits not all of his loved ones supported his onstage performance.
He tells Larry King Live, "My other family members didn’t want anybody from the family to perform, because they wanted us to sort of just sit th ere and support everybody.
"But I wanted to do this song for him because I love that song. And the n I realised that was his favourite song. And I so I asked my mother, ‘Ca n I do a song for him?’ She said, ‘Yes, baby, do whatever you can for you r brother.’ It was emotional for me because I knew that was his favourite song."

ANGELINA JOLIE is convinced she will "grow old" with her partner BRAD PIT T - because he’s the only man to make her feel "safe".
The Oscar-winner has been married twice before, to Jonny Lee Miller bet ween 1996 and 1997, and to Billy Bob Thornton, who she divorced in 2003 a fter three years.
Jolie has been dating Pitt since 2005 and they now have six children to gether, and although the couple has no plans to marry, the actress is con vinced the relationship will last.
She tells Vanity Fair magazine, "I feel fortunate to have a relationshi p where I actually feel safe enough to imagine growing old together," add ing, "(We’re not) against getting married (but) it’s just like we already are. Children are clearly a commitment, a bigger commitment (than marria ge). It’s for life." ANNA KENDRICK refused to be disheartened after failing to win any major a cting accolades at this year’s (10) glitzy awards ceremonies - because sh e was delighted to see rival MO’NIQUE win a huge haul for her "humbling" turn in PRECIOUS.
The two stars went head to head for the Best Supporting Actress trophy several times earlier this year (10), at film events including the Golden Globes, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Awards a nd the Oscars.
Kendrick’s role in Up In The Air failed to land her any of the coveted awards, while Mo’Nique swept the board at most of the major ceremonies fo r her turn in Precious: Based on the Novel ‘Push’ by Sapphire.
But the Twilight actress refuses to hold a grudge.
She says, "There’s no way of saying this that doesn’t make it sound lik e I’m just trying to be polite but Mo’Nique gave such a humbling performa nce, that to see her win again and again didn’t make me feel bad at all.
"In a way, it took a lot of the pressure off because I didn’t feel that I was losing to a performance I didn’t admire. And I know it sounds chee sy, but it really was a dream come true to be at the Oscars - I never tho ught I’d get to be there."

EMMA WATSON has given her new boyfriend a career boost by starring in the model/musician’s latest rock video.
The Harry Potter star confirmed over the weekend (26-27Jun10) that she is dating George Craig, who she met on her latest fashion shoot for Briti sh design house Burberry.
Now it’s been revealed that Watson has taken a starring role in a promo for Craig’s band One Night Only.
The actress appears in the clip for new single Say You Don’t Want, whic h was filmed in New York and shows Watson and Craig being chased around t he streets of the Big Apple.
Watson explains, "I just really wanted to be involved somehow (in his m usic) and we did the video together. It was very much our idea. It’s kind of an ode to Lady and the Tramp. George is Tramp and I’m Lady.

ANGELINA JOLIE and BRAD PITT dropped out of plans for a MR. & MRS. SMITH sequel when they realised the script would mirror their real-life romance ..
Jolie admits she "fell in love" with her current partner on the set of the 2005 film, even though he was married to Jennifer Aniston at the time .. They later became romantically involved after Pitt’s marriage ended, an d many saw their onscreen roles as married spies as a precursor to their real-life romance.
The Hollywood actress admits the couple, who now has six kids together, had been in talks to revive their roles for a follow-up, but they dismis sed the idea after the storyline suggestions became too "personal".
She tells Vanity Fair magazine, "People have tried. And it’s strange: d o we have kids in the movie? We’ve thought about that, but it becomes per sonal now that we actually have kids. And if we work on it, we pull from our own life, which is funny to us, but you feel strange sharing too much .. We did ask somebody to look into Mr. & Mrs. to see if they could crack a sequel, but there wasn’t anything original. It was just, Well, they’re going to get married, or they’ve got kids, or they get separated. Never g reat." But Jolie is adamant she wants to share the screen with her current par tner again - as long as they can find a babysitter for their children.
She adds, "I’d love to. We’ve talked about it. We’d have to figure out who’s going to watch the kids, but it’s really about finding the right th ing, because we’ve looked. When you’re a couple, there are certain things people don’t want to see you do. It becomes too indulgent, too personal.

Famed adventurer SIR RANULPH FIENNES has been charged with driving withou t due care and attention in relation to a car crash in England in March ( 10).
The explorer, who is cousin to actor brothers Joseph and Ralph Fiennes, was involved in an accident while driving his Jaguar sportscar near Stoc kport, England on 6 March (10) - the day before his 66th birthday (07Mar1 0).
Fiennes, who completed a gruelling 42-mile (68-kilometre) nighttime end urance race the previous day, was taken to hospital but suffered no serio us injuries, while the driver of the other car involved in the smash was treated for collapsed lungs, broken ribs and a broken leg. A five-year-ol d boy also suffered minor head injuries.
Police launched an investigation following the crash and have now charg ed Fiennes with driving without due care and attention.
Lawyer Nicholas Beckett, of Britain’s Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), says, "I have concluded that there is sufficient evidence, and it is in t he public interest, to charge Sir Ranulph Fiennes with driving without du e care and attention." Fiennes is scheduled to appear in court in Stockport, England later thi s year (10).
