MINAJ DENIES MIMING AT BET AWARDS
Rapper NICKI MINAJ has brushed off allegations she cheated fans by miming lyrics at Sunday’s (27Jun10) 2010 BET Awards, insisting she did not lip- sync during the show.
Minaj was accused of mouthing the words to her tracks when she took the stage for two performances at the annual awards ceremony - where she sco red wins in three categories.
The Massive Attack hitmaker has now hit back at critics upset by her ap parent lack of vocal effort - she’s adamant technical difficulties were t o blame.
In a post on her Twitter.com page, she writes, "U (sic) could hear me i n the auditorium but apparently not in TV land. Shout out to the sound gu y." And the rapper is looking forward to proving critics wrong when the sho w rebroadcasts, with the sound issues resolved.
