JOLIE: ‘SHILOH WANTS TO BE A BOY’
ANGELINA JOLIE is convinced her daughter SHILOH "wants to be a boy" - bec ause the youngster begs her mother to cut her hair short and buy her male clothing.
The four year old was Jolie’s first biological child with her partner B rad Pitt, and in recent months has been seen sporting a cropped haircut i n place of her long blonde locks, and wearing more masculine outfits.
Shiloh’s new look won the couple praise from parenting coaches, who app lauded them for allowing the youngster to express herself.
Jolie admits her daughter is completely obsessed with her boyish appear ance, telling Vanity Fair magazine, "(Shiloh dresses) like a little dude.
Shiloh, we feel, has Montenegro style. It’s how people dress there. She likes tracksuits, she likes (regular) suits. She likes to dress like a bo y. She wants to be a boy. So we had to cut her hair. She likes to wear bo ys’ everything. She thinks she’s one of the brothers." But the actress isn’t worried about the youngster, insisting she was mu ch the same when she was Shiloh’s age.
She adds, "(She’s) goofy and verbal, the early signs of a performer… I used to get dressed up in costumes and jump around. But at some point, I got closed off, darker. I don’t remember anything happening. I think yo u just get hit with the realities of certain things in life, think too mu ch, start to realise the world isn’t as you wished it would be, so you de epen. Then, as I had kids and got older - being goofy, lighter - it all c ame back."
