HAGAR RELEASING AUTOBIOGRAPHY
Former VAN HALEN frontman SAMMY HAGAR is putting pen to paper - he’s rele asing an autobiography.
The musician, known as ‘The Red Rocker’, has signed a deal with It Book s, an imprint of publishing house HarperCollins, to write a memoir detail ing his rock star life.
Hagar announced the news on Wednesday (23Jun10), revealing he has "been writing this book my whole life" and decided it was "time to put it in b etween two covers." The star now fronts rock band Chickenfoot and is known for his business ventures, which include founding the Cabo Wabo Tequila brand and restaur ant chain.
The tome is set to be released next year (11).
