STILLER TO LAUNCH HAITI SCHOOL
Funnyman BEN STILLER is celebrating after his online charity campaign rai sed $50,000 (=C2=A333,300) to build a school in Haiti.
The Meet the Fockers star agreed a deal with bosses at Yahoo, who pledg ed to give the actor $1 (=C2=A30.67) for every Twitter.com user who click ed on an online photo he posted of himself at the Cannes Lions advertisin g festival in France.
Executives at the internet company will now hand over a $50,000 cheque for a temporary school to be constructed in the earthquake-ravaged countr y.
In a post on his Twitter account, Stiller writes, "Hey - woke up in Eur ope to learn we reached our goal of 50 thousand shares - THANK YOU!! Yaho o will build us a school in Haiti."
