GLEE WRITERS TO BE HONOURED AT JUST FOR LAUGHS
The funnymen behind GLEE are set to be honoured for their work on the ser ies at the upcoming Just For Laughs comedy festival.
Co-creators Ian Brennan, Brad Falchuk and Ryan Murphy will share the Co medy Writer of the Year prize at the event in Montreal, Canada next month (Jul10).
The trio, who first imagined the musical programme as a film, write all the show’s episodes together.
Get Him to the Greek actor Aziz Ansari will receive the Breakout Comedy Star award, while Community star Donald Glover will take home the Rising Comedy Star honour.
Members of the improvisational comedy troupe Second City will accept th e Lifetime Achievement Award on their 50th anniversary.
