WINEHOUSE’S NEW LOVE A HIT WITH PARENTS
AMY WINEHOUSE’s new boyfriend has won the approval of the singer’s parent s after he was introduced to them at her dad MITCH’s Sunday night jazz cl ub debut in London.
The Back To Black hitmaker has moved on from her troubled relationship with ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil and is now dating filmmaker Reg Travi ss.
Winehouse, who was divorced from Fielder-Civil last July (09), introduc ed Traviss to her parents before her dad took to the stage at London’s Pi zza on the Park jazz club on Sunday (20Jun10) - and the sauve Londoner wa s an instant hit.
Mitch Winehouse, who is preparing to launch his own music career, says, "He’s a really nice chap. They’re very fond of each other, so we will ha ve to see how it goes." While mum Janice tells Grazia magazine, "You just want to see your chil d happy and healthy and if Reg can help Amy stay in a place like that, th en it’s a good thing.
"Amy, bless her, is a little girl in love. I think it’s what’s called e arly days, but it’s great for me to see Reg making her so happy. She seem s to like everything about him."
