SANDRA BULLOCK’s estranged husband JESSE JAMES has lost his court bid to ban his ex-wife, porn star JANINE LINDEMULDER, from visiting their six-ye ar-old daughter amid allegations she is abusing drugs.
James and Bullock were granted full guardianship of little Sunny in 200 9 after Lindemulder was sentenced to six months in jail for tax evasion.
She was released earlier this year (10) and relaunched her child custod y battle after James was exposed as a love cheat in March (10).
The fight over Sunny turned nasty this month (Jun10) when James accused his former partner of driving under the influence of drugs with their li ttle girl in the car and refused to hand over the child for one of Lindem ulder’s court-ordered visits.
But a judge in Orange County, California dismissed James’ allegations d uring a hearing on Thursday (17Jun10) and ruled Lindemulder could keep he r unmonitored visitation rights, reports TMZ.com.
However, it wasn’t all good news for the adult star - her request to ho ld James in contempt of court for refusing to let her take Sunny during h er scheduled visit was denied.
The custody case will be continued on 12 July (10).
Meanwhile, James’ lawyer has confirmed rumours the reality star is movi ng from Los Angeles to Austin, Texas, revealing he will be relocating at the end of June (10).
Attorney John Schilling tells People.com, "He intends to move at the en d of the month, he’s got a need to be there." It has been rumoured James plans to move to Bullock’s hometown to win t he actress back, but his legal rep has refused to comment on the claims, insisting the shamed star has business concerns in Austin, where he owns a motorcycle shop.
