MCCARTNEY WRITING BALLET SCORE
PAUL MCCARTNEY is to write the score for a top-secret ballet production.
The Beatles star, who turned 68 on Friday (18Jun10), has signed up to c reate new music for a forthcoming dance show - and the singer is delighte d to be taking on such a challenging new project.
He tells BBC News, "I’m interested in doing things I haven’t done befor e. That offer came up and I love writing music, the two went together and I said, ‘Yeah,’ so I just accept things before I even know what I’m doin g." McCartney admits the project is still in the planning stage and he does n’t know when the full production will make its debut: "I don’t really kn ow that much about it yet."
