Hip-hop heavyweight MARION ‘SUGE’ KNIGHT has been slapped with a permanen t restraining order after allegedly putting a hit on a Los Angeles area.
According to Los Angeles County Superior Court documents obtained by TM Z.com, Knight’s accuser claimed the former Death Row Records CEO "had 8 g uys come to my house and told them to get me or kill me" on 21 May (10).
The alleged incident came one day after Knight was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon. It is unclear if the two incidents are connected.
Knight was ordered to stay 100 yards (91 meters) away from his accuser’ s home, car and workplace for three years.

Incarcerated rap superstar LIL WAYNE has been sentenced to three years pr obation after striking a plea deal with U.S. prosecutors in relation to a 2008 drugs charge.
The Lollipop hitmaker, real name Dwayne Carter, was taken into custody by police after authorities allegedly found cocaine, ecstasy and a handgu n on his tour bus at a border checkpoint in Arizona.
He pleaded not guilty to a string of weapons and drugs charges, but rea ched a deal with Arizona prosecutors last week (21Jun10). The rapper plea ded guilty to one count of possession of a dangerous drug and three other charges for misconduct involving weapons, possession of drug paraphernal ia and possession of a narcotic drug for sale were subsequently dismissed ..
The case returned to an Arizona court on Wednesday morning (30Jun10), a nd Wayne appeared via video link from his cell at New York’s Rikers Islan d prison, where he is serving a year’s sentence for a separate illegal we apons possession charge.
Speaking after the hearing, Wayne’s local attorney, James Tilson, told Reuters, "We’re quite glad that we were able to wrap everything up. It’s a favourable plea agreement that will allow Mr. Carter to pursue his care er." Tilson confirms the rapper will begin his probation once he’s released from prison. Reports suggest Wayne will be a free man on 4 November (10).

Rap mogul DIDDY’s one-time butler and manservant FONZWORTH BENTLEY is to wed after proposing marriage to actress FAUNE CHAMBERS.

Organisers of the Electric Daisy Carnival in Los Angeles at the weekend ( 26-27Jun10) have been rocked by the news a 15-year-old reveller has died of an event-related drug overdose.
More than 100 dance music fans were admitted to hospital after fans scr ambled to gain access to the Memorial Coliseum and Exposition Park festiv al, which was headlined by Moby.
Officials claimed many of the injuries occurred as crowds rushed the ga tes and barriers in a bid to force their way into the event.
But two attendees were hospitalised in critical condition after taking drugs at the festival, which drew 185,000 music fans to downtown Los Ange les.
Sasha Rodriguez, 15, died at California Hospital Medical Center on Tues day (29Jun10) of a suspected drug overdose.
Officials are investigating the teen’s death and how she managed to gai n access to the rave event, which was intended only for revellers aged 16 and older.
In a statement from Barry Sanders, the president of the L.A. Coliseum C ommission, he expressed his "dismay and deep sadness on the death of the young woman".
Sanders plans to review all criteria required for organisers using the venue.

LINDSAY LOHAN has persuaded a former employee to return as the actress’ p ersonal assistant - just weeks after she quit from exhaustion.
The Mean Girls star was left without an aide when the girl, named simpl y Eleonore or Elinore, resigned at the start of June (10) amid reports sh e was tired and had "had enough of Lindsay’s demands".
According to TMZ.com, Eleonore had only held the position for a few mon ths and was upset after Lohan ordered her to remain at her side "for days on end".
But Lohan has managed to win Eleonore back - the assistant was spotted picking up groceries for the troubled star in Los Angeles on Tuesday (29J un10).
However, Lohan has placed Eleonore on a one month "trial run" before de ciding whether to keep her on, reports the website.
The assistant recently turned down numerous offers to talk to the tablo ids about her time with Lohan - because she feared a tell-all article wou ld harm her own chances of future employment.

DAME HELEN MIRREN has dismissed reports she is set to reprise her role as British monarch QUEEN ELIZABETH II in a new film about INDIRA GANDHI.
Mirren, who won an Academy Award for her portrayal of Elizabeth II in 2 006 movie The Queen, was lined up to tackle the role again in Mother: The Indira Gandhi Story, a two-part biopic about the former Indian prime min ister, who was assassinated in 1984.
But the actress insists she has no interest in taking part in a new bio pic.
Mirren tells WENN, "No, no. I’m not interested in biopics or anything o f the sort." Mother: The Indira Gandhi Story will be directed by Krishna Shah and is scheduled for release later this year (10).

KELLY ROWLAND refuses to rule out surgery in the future - but would avoid Botox for fear of permanently freezing her face.
The former Destiny’s Child star underwent breast enhancement surgery in 2007 and admits she’s open to more cosmetic operations.
But Rowland would steer clear of the facial-freezing injections as she’ s worried about the damage it may cause.
She tells Britain’s Closer magazine, "If my butt is falling I’m going t o pick it up. I’m not against it.
"I’d never have Botox though - no way. I don’t want needles stuck in my face, that’s going to hurt. And I like to have expressions!"

Hip-hop pioneer and graffiti artist RAMMELLZEE has died.
The New York artist passed away on Tuesday (29Jun10), although further details about his cause of death had not been revealed as WENN went to pr ess.
Born in 1960 in Queens, Rammellzee began his career as a graffiti write r and artist, before turning his attention to a rap career.
He established himself as one of the leading voices of New York hip-hop in the 1980s and has influenced acts such as The Beastie Boys and Cypres s Hill.
He was a member of the Death Comet Crew with pals Stewart Albright and Michael Diekmann and the trio reunited in 2003 for a rare gig in the Big Apple, prompting the re-release of their work from the early 1980s.
Rammellzee released his debut album, Bi-Conicals of the Rammellzee, in 2004.

A spokesperson for ROCK OF AGES star CONSTANTINE MAROULIS has fuelled rep orts the rocker is set to become a first time dad by refusing to comment on the rumours.
The New York Post claims Maroulis is expecting a baby with chorus girl Angel Reed after meeting while working on the Broadway hit.
The actress/dancer has now quit the musical and notified Broadway bosse s she is three months pregnant with her on/off beau, according to the new spaper.
A source tells gossip column Page Six, "Angel just gave her notice last week, and told friends on the show that she is pregnant. It’s been an op en secret that she and Constantine have been together for a while." Reed did not respond to requests for a comment, while Maroulis’ manager , David Passick, says: "This is not something I would comment on. I haven ‘t spoken to him." A rep for the show has declined to comment.
Maroulis and Reed were first romantically linked last year (09), before the American Idol runner-up dated socialite Tinsley Mortimer. The couple reportedly reunited following Maroulis’ split from Mortimer earlier this year (10).

Iconic rap group SLUM VILLAGE will be no more after the release of its up coming album.
The band, now comprising of Elzhi, Illa J and founding rapper T3, is pu tting the final touches to its latest project, Villa Manifesto - but the disc will be its last as Slum Village.
Breaking the news on his Twitter.com blog, T3 writes, "One more thing..
.. this is the last Slum Village album." The revelation comes a year after the death of original rapper Baatin, and four years since producer J Dilla, the third founding member, died fr om complications from a blood disease in 2006.
Villa Manifesto is due for release in July (10).

EMINEM has shattered chart expectations in America to land at the top of the album countdown with the biggest sales week in almost two years.
The rapper’s Recovery has debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 wi th 741,000 first-week sales.
That’s the largest sales week for a single album since AC/DC’s Black Ic e debuted with 784,000 in its first week back in October, 2008.
Recovery is Eminem’s sixth consecutive number one debut.
The rapper also had a big week in the digital charts - 255,000 of his f irst-week tally came from downloads - that’s the second-biggest digital w eek for an album in history. Only Coldplay’s Viva La Vida debuted higher.
Eminem also tops the Digital Songs chart with his Love the Way You Lie collaboration with Rihanna.
Last week’s Billboard 200 chart-topper by Drake (Thank Me Later) falls a spot to two and Miley Cyrus debuts Can’t Be Tamed at three on the new c ountdown.
Ozzy Osbourne enters the chart high at four with Scream and hits compil ation Now 34 rounds out the top five.

R&B star R. KELLY has been slapped with a lawsuit from a former employee over allegations of unpaid wages.
The I Believe I Can Fly hitmaker is accused of failing to compensate An thony Navarro for overtime hours he racked up in 2007, while Kelly was on tour.
In his legal papers, filed in an Illinois court, Navarro claims he and his fellow workers were sometimes forced to work more than 80 hours a wee k to help with studio and tour preparations. They were reportedly contrac ted to be paid time-and-a-half for the additional hours but Navarro alleg es he was only paid at the normal rate.
He has also named Kelly’s production company, Bass Productions Ltd., in the lawsuit and has cited the U.S. Fair Labor Standards Act and the Illi nois Minimum Wage Law in his court filing.
He is seeking undisclosed damages and court costs.
