MICHAEL JACKSON’s former manager wants to file a creditor’s claim against the late star’s estate - four months after a deadline was set for all su bmissions.
Richard Arons, who is said to have worked with the King of Pop for 40 y ears, has asked a judge to accept his claim four months after the due dat e for demands to shares of Jackson’s fortune.
Arons blames Jackson’s estate bosses for failing to tell him he needed to file a claim in order to continue receiving royalty cheques, according to legal documents submitted on Friday (14May10) in Los Angeles County S uperior Court.
A long list of creditors are vying for a stake in Jackson’s assets - hi s former skin doctor Arnold Klein, choreographer LaVelle Smith Jr. and ev en his sister, Janet, and brothers Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon and Ran dy are reportedly listed as potential creditors.

MELISSA ETHERIDGE knew she had to come clean about her secret split from actress TAMMY LYNN MICHAELS while promoting her new album - because journ alists kept asking about her "great marriage".
The Come To My Window singer announced last month (Apr10) she had separ ated from Michaels - nine years after they exchanged vows in a commitment ceremony in California.
Etheridge admits she contemplated keeping quiet about the break-up, but the release of her album Fearless Love forced her to open up to the pres s about her love life.
She explains, "(The album) was written before we actually physically se parated, but you know, break-ups just don’t happen overnight.
"When I saw these things were about to collide for a while there I thou ght, ‘I don’t want this to come up on top of the album.’ Then I started d oing interviews and they’re like, ‘You’re such a family girl! Your marria ge is great! What’s the key to a great marriage?’ and I was like, ‘Oh, I can’t sit here and lie.’ But I would have definitely made the timing diff erent."

GYM CLASS HEROES star TRAVIS MCCOY has recovered from his last break-up - he’s titled his new mixtape FORGETTING KATY PERRY.
McCoy and Perry ended their relationship in April last year (09) but by December (09), the pop star had become engaged to funnyman Russell Brand following a whirlwind romance.
The rapper admits he was stunned by how quickly his ex bounced back fro m their split, and he’s now channelled his heartbreak into a new solo pro ject inspired by Brand’s movie Forgetting Sarah Marshall. The 2008 comedy centres around a man struggling to recover from a break-up.
McCoy tells Complex.com, "I think it was inspired by that whole situati on. At the end of the day, I think anyone who has been thorough some s**t can relate to (the music). It could have been about my girlfriends befor e, but I’m (going to) keep it real with you, it was definitely about Katy Perry. I definitely felt a certain way about the whole situation. Having a year and a half to reflect on it, you start questioning everything…
"The timelines… she got engaged so quickly after. I was like, ‘Really ?’ I had to sit back and reassess what was really going on. After you hav e some time to start thinking about it, you start putting things together .. It’s been a year and a half. I’m over it." COURTNEY LOVE caused a scene while out on a date with her rumoured new lo ver ANDRE BALAZS - she blasted the tycoon for chatting to another woman, according to a U.S. report.

A source tells the New York Daily News, "They came to the Boom Boom Roo m together late Thursday night and initially went their separate ways. At first, Courtney was chatting with a couple of guys about her music. But eventually, she and Andre snuck out to the smoking deck together and were hugging and being touchy. They both seemed very sweet and genuine.
"When Courtney and Andre decided to call it a night and hail a cab, And re was stopped by a woman he knew. As soon as he started talking to her, Courtney hit the roof. It was obvious to everyone that the woman was a bu siness associate, but not to Courtney.
"She acted like a toddler! It got so bad that the woman Andre was talki ng to got really embarrassed, and he had to apologise and walk away. By t hen, Courtney was crying and screaming.

WHITNEY HOUSTON and SMOKEY ROBINSON have opened up about MICHAEL JACKSON a year after his death - for a new TV tribute created by the KING OF POP’ s best pal, DAVID GEST.
Gest has grilled members of the Jackson family as well as the Thriller legend’s pals Robinson, Houston, Dionne Warwick and Petula Clark for his four-hour ‘popumentary’, The Real Michael Jackson.
The show includes an interview with Jackson’s eldest sister Rebbie, who discusses the singer’s alleged pill addiction, while his beloved mum Kat herine pays a touching tribute to her son.
Gest explains, "I have spent the past three months travelling the world interviewing people who were most important in (Jackson’s) life. I belie ve this popumentary will entertain and educate in equal measures about wh o the real Michael Jackson was. I hope this will serve as a lasting testa ment to the compassion and love that he had for all mankind." The special is due for release in June (10), a year after the superstar died from a cardiac arrest last summer (09). A broadcast date has not ye t been confirmed.

MARY-KATE OLSEN was surprised at reports she got caught up in a mid-air d rama on Sunday (16May10) - it was her twin sister ASHLEY on the stricken plane.
Initial reports of the incident stated that former child star Mary-Kate was travelling on a flight from New York to Los Angeles when a blaze bro ke out at the front of the aircraft, cracking the windshield and forcing the pilots to make an emergency landing in Virginia.
But it has now emerged the twins were a victim of mistaken identity by other passengers - it was Ashley Olsen on the plane, with her actor boyfr iend Justin Bartha.
A representative for the Olsens has confirmed Ashley was on the flight and was unharmed in the incident.

"It was really entertaining, but a few audience members were saying it sounded a bit like karaoke."

LOST bosses are marking the end of the cult series by auctioning off hund reds of props from the show.
Devoted fans will be able to own a piece of the desert island series, w hich wraps in the U.S. later this month (May10), when priceless props and mementos go under the hammer at the Profiles in History sale this summer (10).
Auction house owner Joseph Maddalena tells the New York Post, "This wil l have every iconic item from all six seasons - up to the last episode.
"This will be a watershed event, the most iconic TV show to ever sell i ts property. One of the reasons they (producers) are doing this is that t hey want to give something back to the fans, who are so into this show." Items up for grabs include the show’s famous Apollo chocolate bars, cha racters’ passports, handwritten letters and plane tickets.

SARAH JESSICA PARKER is in a "state of turmoil" about the upcoming SEX AN D THE CITY movie sequel - she’s worried fans won’t like the film.
The actress plays writer Carrie Bradshaw in the franchise and also acts as executive producer on the film, which is set to hit cinemas around th e world later this month (May10).
But she’s worried about the reception the film will receive.
She tells ETOnline.com, "I’m excited, but this is also the period when I tend to be very nervous and I worry and I fret and overthink. I’m in a state of turmoil. I fret about everything. I worry that it’s not good eno ugh. I worry that no one will show up… What if the audience isn’t happy ?" Veteran actress BRITT EKLAND has taken aim at VICTORIA BECKHAM - accusing the former SPICE GIRL of destroying the mystique of stardom.
The former Bond girl slams celebrities who glam up for the red carpet b ut allow themselves to be photographed in scruffy clothes when they’re ou t and about.
Despite Beckham’s reputation for insisting on wearing designer clothes and high heels at all times, Ekland singles the former Spice Girl out for criticism - insisting she has changed the way movie-goers and music fans view their heroes.
Ekland says, "Today people don’t make the effort. They make a movie and go on tour with designer dresses they borrow to promote it and the next you see is a picture of them in flip-flops in Starbucks.

In another veiled barb at the wife of soccer ace David, Ekland adds: "I think cosmetic surgery is terrific… (But) when you’re 35 I think it’s tragic. NEIL PATRICK HARRIS is worried about the GLEE cast after filming a cameo on the hit show - because the actors are completely "exhausted" and "over worked".
The How I Met Your Mother star was delighted when he was offered a star ring role on the musical series but admits he was stunned after realising the Glee performers were nothing like their energetic on-screen counterp arts.

MEGAN FOX was fuming after naked photos of her on a movie set were leaked online in January (10) - just months after a pal sold topless shots of h er to the tabloids.
A set insider photographed the brunette beauty in her underwear while s he was filming a scene for upcoming movie Passion Play, and the images su rfaced on the internet earlier this year (10).

Officials in the U.S. gave dying actor DENNIS HOPPER a bizarre birthday s urprise on Monday (17May10) - they dedicated the date to the "fine New Me xican", even though he’s from Kansas.
Civic bosses in the state marked the Hollywood legend’s 74th birthday o n Monday by declaring it Dennis Hopper Day, in recognition of his contrib ution to arts in the region.
New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson praised the star for supporting the local film industry, adding: "Dennis Hopper is an outstanding actor and not to mention a fine New Mexican, and I am pleased to proclaim May 17, 2 010 in his honour." Hopper was born in Kansas before moving to Missouri and then California .. He has been a key figure in promoting New Mexico to other actors and di rectors in the U.S., and parts of his iconic movie Easy Rider were filmed in the state. He spent several years living there during the 1970s.
The star, terminally ill with advanced prostate cancer, currently lives in Venice, California.

An auction of the jewels given to ANNE HATHAWAY by her conman ex-lover RA FFAELLO FOLLIERI is free to go ahead after the actress refused to reclaim the gems.
The Devil Wears Prada star’s former boyfriend was jailed for four-and-a -half years in December 2008 after pleading guilty to 14 counts of wire f raud, conspiracy and money laundering.
Hathaway dumped the Italian businessman in June the same year (08) just before his arrest for the scam, which saw him take more than $3.6 millio n (=C2=A32.25 million) from investment funds and real estate firms.
During their romance, Follieri lavished gifts on his A-list lover, whic h Hathaway was forced to give up upon his trial so the goods could be use d as evidence.
Following his sentencing, prosecutors in the case gave Hathaway until F ebruary (10) to put in an ownership bid on the items, which include Rolex watches, a five-strand pearl necklace, two rings and a Louis Vuitton box ..
But according to papers obtained by New York Post gossip column PageSix , Hathaway decided against trying to reclaim the jewellery, meaning an au ction of Follieri’s gifts and possessions will go ahead if no more bids f rom third parties are received by 26 May (10).
The money raised from the auction will go towards paying back those inv estors duped by Follieri.
