Heavyweight actor JONAH HILL has one simple request on his list of on-set demands - movie producers must provide him with exercise equipment for t he duration of shooting.
The Superbad star, 26, is trying to shape up and lose weight after pili ng on the pounds in recent years, and Hill admits he has a new must-have he asks for on every production.
He tells People magazine, "I recently started exercising a lot. It’s be en going really well, so I’ve been asking for a treadmill or an elliptica l machine (in his trailer) so I can be healthy."

LEBLANC ‘LEARNING TO PLAY POLO’

Former FRIENDS star MATT LEBLANC is making the most of a work trip to Eng land - he’s learning to play polo.
The actor is spending the summer (10) in Britain filming upcoming satir ical TV show Episodes and is reportedly using his free time to master the horseback sport.
LeBlanc is said to have met champion player Claire Tomlinson at a polo match in Ascot and has already booked a lesson with her.
A source tells Britain’s Mail on Sunday, "If anyone can make a player o ut of him, she can."

SEX AND THE CITY HEADING TO LONDON?

SEX AND THE CITY writer/director MICHAEL PATRICK KING has delighted Briti sh fans by announcing plans to take the hit franchise to London.
Leading ladies Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kr istin Davis leave their Manhattan mainstay to travel through the United A rab Emirates in the new sequel, released earlier this month (May10).
King has not confirmed plans for a third instalment but admits he’d lov e to film scenes in the British capital for another big screen outing.
He tells Britain’s Sunday Mirror, "We will come to the U.K., I promise.
If this film does well, then London is definitely the venue for us. At o ne point Carrie was going to move (abroad) for a work assignment anyway.
"We all see it as our spiritual home for the show. The support from the fans has been wild and we’d love to come here and film. Obviously we’ll have to see how we do this time around, but I’m hoping the third will hap pen."

ANDREWS ENDS ROMANCE WITH HERSHEY

LOST star NAVEEN ANDREWS is single after quietly parting ways with his lo ngtime girlfriend BARBARA HERSHEY last year (09).
The British actor, 41, met Hershey on the set of independent film Drown ing on Dry Land in 1998 and they began dating, despite their 21-year age gap.
They split briefly in 2005, during which Andrews fathered a son with an other woman, but the couple reunited before ending the relationship for g ood in December (09).
Confirming the news, Andrews’ manager Renee Jennet tells People.com the break-up was amicable, adding, "They remain the best of friends." Andrews was awarded sole physical and legal custody of his child, Navee n Joshua, last year (Jan09) after his ex Elena Eustache reportedly broke the rules of their joint custody agreement and kept the boy from the acto r.

Hollywood icon CLINT EASTWOOD has banned his wife DINA from celebrating h is 80th birthday, insisting he stopped marking the anniversary when he tu rned 70.
The Dirty Harry star reaches the milestone on Monday (31May10) but he i s hoping for a quiet one because he doesn’t believe in being showered wit h gifts at such an advanced age.
He says, "Once you get in the 70s, several things happen. One is, you s top celebrating birthdays. I’ve forbidden my wife. I said, ‘Please, no bi rthday things.’ I don’t need to pretend to open a gift and say, ‘This is just what I wanted.’ "I said, ‘Don’t get me anything. We’ll just have a glass of wine.’" Eastwood wed 44-year-old Dina, his second wife, in 1996.

SHREK STOMPS ALL OVER SEX AT U.S. BOX OFFICE

SHREK FOREVER AFTER has slain the girls from SEX AND THE CITY 2 to score a second week at number one in the battle of the U.S. box office.
The animated 3D movie reigned supreme with takings of $43.3 million (=C2 =A328.9 million), beating Sex and the City 2’s opening gross of $32.1 mil lion (=C2=A321.4 million), based on ticket sales over the three-day weeke nd.
The romantic comedy, starring Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Cattrall, gr ossed an extra $14.2 million (=C2=A39.47 million) from midnight screening s on Wednesday night (26May10) and showings on Thursday (27May10) to brin g its total up to $46.3 million (=C2=A330.87 million).
However, the additional sales are not included in the chart tallies for America’s Memorial Day weekend and the grand total still falls short of the $56.8 million (=C2=A337.87 million) the original debuted with in 2008 ..
Jake Gyllenhaal’s Disney action/adventure Prince of Persia: The Sands o f Time enters at three with $30.1 million (=C2=A320.07 million), while Ir on Man 2 slips to fourth position and Robin Hood rounds out the new top f ive at five.

PACINO SEVERED TIES WITH BANKER SUSPECTED OF FRAUD

AL PACINO narrowly avoided losing millions in the fraud scandal involving celebrity financial adviser KENNETH STARR by withdrawing all of his cash from the company just weeks before the disgraced banker was arrested.
Starr was busted by federal agents in New York last week (27May10), acc used of embezzling a staggering $30 million (=C2=A320 million) from clien ts including Uma Thurman, Martin Scorsese and Wesley Snipes.
He was charged with wire fraud, investment adviser fraud and money laun dering amid claims he used the stolen cash to buy a luxurious Manhattan a partment.
But Hollywood legend Pacino managed to escape the financial nightmare b y recently ending business relations with the suspect’s firm Starr & Co.
According to the New York Post, Pacino warned one of Starr’s top accoun t managers he was severing ties with the company and encouraged the emplo yee to quit his job to continue managing the actor’s funds.
He reportedly told the manager, "I’m leaving with you or without you, s o if you want to retain my business, you need to leave." A source tells the publication, "The guy ended up (opening another comp any) with another guy and took Pacino with him about a month ago. Pacino must have known something." Starr is being held without bail. His associate, former New York City C ouncil President Andrew Stein, who was also arrested in connection to the fraud scheme, has been released on $250,000 (=C2=A3166,667) bond. He has been charged with making false statements in documents filed with the In ternal Revenue Service and making false statements to a federal officer.

BEATZ SETTLES CHILD SUPPORT DISPUTE WITH EX-WIFE

Rap producer SWIZZ BEATZ has settled a dispute with ex-wife MASHONDA over missing child support payments as he prepares to welcome his first child with fiancee ALICIA KEYS.
The beatmaker, real name Kasseem Dean, split from R&B singer Mashonda i n 2008 after four years of marriage, and their divorce was finalised in M ay (10).
But within days of the union being officially over, Beatz was accused o f falling behind on his alimony and child support responsibilities for th e former couple’s three-year-old son, Kasseem Jr.
The producer was due to appear before a judge in New York’s Manhattan S upreme Court in June (10) to answer the allegations, but Mashonda’s lawye r, Bernard Clair, has confirmed Beatz has paid up the $334,000 (=C2=A3222 ,670) debt and the court date has now been cancelled.
Beatz and Keys confirmed rumours they are engaged and expecting a baby last week (ends28May10) but the hip-hop star insists they have yet to dec ide on a date for their big day, which will take place before the end of the year (10).
He tells the New York Daily News, "I’m super excited. People are callin g me from Dubai and Japan. We haven’t set a wedding date, but we will. We ‘re just letting everything flow."

MANSON WEDS IN SECRET COURTHOUSE CEREMONY

Rocker-turned-actress SHIRLEY MANSON is a married woman after recently ex changing vows in a secret ceremony in Los Angeles.
The former Garbage frontwoman, who was previously married to actor Eddi e Farrell, sparked reports she was engaged in 2008 when she was snapped w earing a large sparkler on her ring finger while out and about in her ado pted home of Los Angeles.
She refused to divulge any details or reveal the identity of her beau, but her father told reporters at the time, "All I can say is she is very happy. The two of them have been together for a while and things are goin g well." But, during an appearance on U.S. TV’s Late Late Show With Craig Fergus on on Friday (28May10), the Scottish star admitted she had finally tied t he knot - although she only revealed her new husband was an American.
She said, "I married an American, it’s fantastic. He’s not (a musician) .. I would never marry a musician." Manson wed in a courthouse registry service and decided against celebra ting the union with a honeymoon, choosing instead to stay in a hotel in L os Angeles.
She added, "It was very unromantic. We eloped and went to the L.A. cour thouse and it was about as unromantic as you can get. It was so unromanti c it was super hot. You just turn up (to the courthouse).
"This is my second (marriage) which is why I decided not to do the trad itional. We didn’t (have a honeymoon). We went and got drunk and did a st ayover, which is when you stay in your city but you go to a hotel." Manson split from Farrell in 2001 and their divorce was finalised in 20 03.

JACKSON FANS DESPERATE TO VISIT GRAVE

A group of MICHAEL JACKSON fans is fighting for access to the star’s grav e - after cemetery officials decided to impose strict visitation rules.
The Justice4MJ fan group is planning to make a visit to the singer’s ma usoleum at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Glendale, California on 25 June (10) t o mark the first anniversary of his death.
But they’re set to meet resistance from authorities who are cracking do wn on the number of mourners paying their respects at the site.
According to TMZ.com, guards have been instructed to ask anyone who is loitering in the grounds to leave.
A representative for the Justice4MJ group is urging memorial park bosse s to "take into consideration" the huge number of fans who will be travel ling from across the globe for the day.
The King of Pop’s younger brother Randy Jackson is supporting the mourn ers and is said to have asked officials to hand out permits to visitors t o the tomb.

AMERICAN IDOL REJECT CHALLENGES COOK TO ‘BEATDOWN’

Comedian DANE COOK has been challenged to a "beatdown" by the disgruntled AMERICAN IDOL wannabe who stormed the stage during the hit TV show’s liv e finale last week (26May10).
Former contestant Ian Benardo, who was rejected at the audition stage d uring a previous season of the talent competition, ran onto the platform at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles and grabbed the microphone from Cook, interrupting his comedy skit.
Calling it "a Kanye West moment", Benardo began to hurl abuse at retiri ng American Idol judge Simon Cowell, insisting he was going to replace th e music mogul on the show because "I’m more entertaining than you." Cook took to his Twitter.com page to share his shock at the unruly prot estor’s behaviour, writing, "Weirdo hijacked the song. Just glad he didn’ t hit me in the face w/ (with) the mic or American Idol would b (sic) Ame rican Beatdown." But Benardo, who grew up in the tough boroughs of New York, is refusing to take the "weirdo" comment lightly and has taunted Cook to fight him i n the ring.
He tells the New York Post’s gossip column Page Six, "After the show, D ane Cook called me all kinds of names. His publicist followed me out and kept calling me a stupid freak and that… I belong in hell. Then Cook we nt on Twitter and called me a weirdo.
"I was born in Brooklyn and raised in the Bronx. Where I come from we d on’t tweet about it, we do it. If he wants an American Beatdown he should come and face me in a boxing ring. I will beat him down." Cook has yet to respond to the challenge.

The Star Trek: The Next Generation star has been hit with a demand from California officials seeking delinquent state taxes.

TINTIN MEMORABILIA ATTRACTS HIGH BIDS AT AUCTION

Memorabilia relating to the TINTIN comic books has fetched more than $1.3 million (=C2=A3866,670) at an auction in Paris, France.
The sale of over 200 items included a bronze statue of Georges ‘Herge’ Remi’s creation with the fictional character’s dog, Snowy, by his side, w hich went under the hammer on Saturday (29May10) for $153,650 (=C2=A3102, 435).
But it was two water paintings by the Belgian artist which attracted th e most attention - the artworks from 1938’s King Ottokar’s Sceptre sold f or $299,620 (=C2=A3199,750).
Herge’s tales of the intrepid young reporter has sold over 200 million books worldwide since 1929 and a Hollywood movie adaptation, directed by Steven Spielberg, is expected to be released in 2011.

KENNEDY CREDITS COLEMAN WITH HUMBLED ATTITUDE

Actor JAMIE KENNEDY will never take his fame for granted after a humbling meeting with GARY COLEMAN - because the former child star was working as a security guard to make ends meet.
Diff’rent Strokes star Coleman died on Friday (28May10), aged 42.
His life was marred by health and financial problems and he filed for b ankruptcy in 1999, a decade after he successfully sued his parents for mi sappropriating his $3.8 million (=C2=A32.53 million) trust fund.
As a result, Coleman was forced to take on odd jobs - and Ghost Whisper er star Kennedy recalls running into the diminutive actor while he was sh ooting 1999 movie Bowfinger.
He tells People.com, "We were filming in downtown Los Angeles and I pul led up to the (set) and looked over and saw this security guard. It was a little guy.
"I said, ‘Gary, how you doing, man?’ and he said, ‘You know, trying to put the pieces back together.’ I said, ‘Why are you here?’ He said, ‘I ne ed a job, man.’ I said, ‘But you=E2=80=99re Gary Coleman.’ And he said, ‘ That don=E2=80=99t mean nothing.’" Kennedy admits the conversation hit him hard - because he had been insp ired by Coleman to embark on an acting career.
He says, "(Diff’rent Strokes) was a pop culture phenomenon and here he was guarding my trailer. I remember just looking at him. I used to watch him all the time. I used to recite all his lines. He was one of the reaso ns I wanted to get into Hollywood.
"I just thought, ‘Enjoy your moment and be humble, because anything cou ld happen.’ And now the poor guy is gone."

PARKER’S ‘CASUAL’ WEDDING ANNIVERSARY

SARAH JESSICA PARKER and MATTHEW BRODERICK had a "casual" anniversary cel ebration this year (10) - because the special day came just a week before the SEX AND THE CITY 2 premiere.
The actress married Broderick on 19 May, 1997 in New York City but admi ts they weren’t able to throw a lavish party to commemorate the date - an d she’s convinced her romance-obsessed alter-ego Carrie Bradshaw would di sapprove.
Parker explains to Britain’s Sunday Mirror, "It was our 13th wedding an niversary last week. We’ve actually been together for 17 years so you can be more casual about things nowadays. But it doesn’t mean any less - alt hough I’m sure Carrie wouldn’t feel the same! (But) Matthew is amazing , he’s a great support and a fantastic cook. I mean really good - rather li ke Big!" The film opened in several countries last week (ends30May10) and Parker has been busy travelling to cities including New York City and London to promote the highly-anticipated sequel.
