SARAH JESSICA PARKER has vowed never to sign up to a lengthy movie shoot abroad again - because she desperately missed her family while filming SE X AND THE CITY 2 in Morocco.
The actress was parted from her husband Matthew Broderick, their seven- year-old son son James Wilkie and twins Marion and Tabitha when she trave lled to the desert landscape of North Africa for the movie sequel.
Parker’s twin daughters were too young to be taken to Morocco and the s tar admits she will never agree to be apart from them for such an extende d time in the future.
She tells Britain’s Live From Studio Five, "I missed my family and I th ink that was the hardest part and I think I came away from it saying, ‘I will never spend that kind of time away ever from my family.’ The circums tances just didn’t allow for the girls to come, they were too young and t hey couldn’t get their shots and so I discovered the virtues of Skype and my son did get to come and visit." But despite the testing circumstances, the star is thankful she had the opportunity to experience living in the exotic country.
She add, "Having put the hardship aside… Gruelling hot days, no probl em, I’ll take them any time. Working hard, long hours, I’ll take them any time… Being flown to the most extraordinary place, Morocco, and shooti ng in the dunes of the Sahara where Lawrence of Arabia (was) shot and spe nding this amount of time with my cast… and working with them and ridin g on camels and working in beautiful, surprising locations and living amo ng the people of Marrakesh… it was a privilege of a lifetime and I will work that hard again anywhere… just for not as long as this time!" JAVIER BARDEM brought his lover PENELOPE CRUZ to tears during his accepta nce speech at Cannes Film Festival in France on Sunday (23May10) - when h e made his first public acknowledgement of their relationship.
Bardem shared the Best Actor prize with Elio Germano at the prestigious European competition for his role as a terminally-ill criminal in Biutif ul.
And the Oscar-winner finally showed his affection for Cruz while collec ting the award - telling the audience of his love for the Spanish beauty.
He told the crowd, "I share this joy with my friend, my companion, my l ove: Penelope: I owe you a lot and I love you so much." Bardem then blew a kiss to Cruz, who was visibly moved by the speech - and was seen wiping a tear from her eye.
The pair has been dating since 2007, but have repeatedly refused to tal k about their relationship - continually dismissing reports they are enga ged.
Cruz recently insisted she will never reveal all about her romances, sa ying, "One thing I don’t do, I don’t lie about my personal life. It’s sac red to me. It’s my life. But I don’t give details about it because I am a llergic to that."

Filming on KATE WINSLET’s new TV mini-series has been suspended after the actress fell over and hit her head during a game of basketball with her kids.
The Titanic star has been shooting new HBO show Mildred Pierce in New Y ork City, but production was halted on Monday (24May10) after she suffere d a mishap while playing with Mia, nine, and Joe, six - her two children with estranged husband Sam Mendes.
Winslet reportedly bumped her head when she fell over and was left badl y bruised, forcing TV bosses to shut down production on the series.
A source tells New York Post gossip column PageSix, "She fell after bei ng hit by a basketball and suffered bruising that couldn’t be covered wit h make-up, so the entire production was halted (on) Monday." A representative for Winslet confirmed the incident, and insisted the s tar "is fine".

Pop star DANNII MINOGUE will open up about her split from ex-husband JULI AN MCMAHON in her new autobiography, detailing the role his mother played in their divorce.
The Australian singer wed the Nip/Tuck star in 1994, but the union coll apsed a year later (95), amid rumours McMahon’s mum, Lady Sonia McMahon - who died earlier this year (10) - pushed her son to split from Minogue.
And now the star is set to lift the lid on the marriage breakdown when she releases her tome later this year (10).
She says, "I’m not a vicious person, but with something that happened t o me and how people behaved around me, you just tell it how it is." Minogue is also planning to discuss her fractured relationship with Sha ron Osbourne, who was her fellow judge on British talent show The X Facto r before the rock matriarch quit in 2008.

German rockers THE SCORPIONS will split after one final memorable concert at a ninth-century temple in Indonesia.
The group has kicked of its final world tour and now the last date has been booked for Jakarta’s Borobudur Temple.
The special concert will be held in June, 2011.
A spokesman for the temple tells the Jakarta Globe newspaper, "This con cert will mark the end of the 45-year musical journey of The Scorpions."

The details of SIR PAUL McCARTNEY’s big White House showdown have been re vealed a week after the former BEATLES star hinted about a presidential c oncert in a webchat.
The Jonas Brothers, Faith Hill, Stevie Wonder and Jerry Seinfeld will b e part of an all-star line-up that will honour McCartney when he receives the third Gershwin Prize for Popular Song from the Library of Congress i n the White House’s East Room.

JOE JONAS chose to end his romance with DEMI LOVATO in order to maintain their close friendship.
The 20-year-old Jonas Brother split from the teen sensation earlier thi s month (May10), just weeks after the pair went public with their relatio nship.
And now Jonas has opened up about the split - admitting it was his deci sion to end the union to focus on being friends.

CHRISTINA AGUILERA has cancelled her entire North American tour to give h er more time to rehearse for the concerts.
The Beautiful hitmaker was due to kick off her U.S. trek in July (10), but now promoters have pushed back the dates until 2011.
Representatives from tour organisers Live Nation are citing Aguilera’s heavy work schedule for the move, revealing she needs more time to prepar e.
In a statement a spokesperson says, "The singer felt she needed more ti me to rehearse the show and with less than a month between the album rele ase and tour date this wasn=E2=80=99t possible." Refunds are available from the point of purchase.

TIMBALAND has settled a legal battle with a composer who accused the supe rproducer of sampling a controversial track without permission.
Musician David Cortopassi wrote the song Spazz, which was originally re corded by The Elastik Band in the 1960s and was banned for its tasteless content.
Timbaland used part of the track in Throw It On Me, his 2007 collaborat ion with The Hives, and Cortopassi launched a copyright infringement laws uit.
AllHipHop.com reports the pair has now agreed a settlement.
No further details were given about the terms of the deal as WENN went press.

Rockers MASTODON have scrapped their upcoming summer world tour after the group’s guitarist BILL KELLIHER was diagnosed with pancreatitis.
The band was due to start its trek in Germany on 05 June (10), but Kell iher has been advised by doctors to take more recovery time after he was struck down with inflammation of the pancreas.
The rocker’s medics are said to be optimistic about his recovery, repor ts Blabbermouth.net.
Kelliher was also forced to drop out of the band’s European tour in 200 8 after falling sick with a mystery illness.

Elizabeth Gilbert watched the movie at a screening with her husband rec ently and admits it was tough to watch her own epic journey, which she wr ote about for Eat Pray Love unfold on the big screen in front of her.

But she admits struggled with her emotions after watching director Ryan Murphy’s film: "I was a wreck… What I was watching encapsulated the wo rst and best time of my life condensed down into two hours, so I came out of it shaken, amazed, delighted, tearful.

LINDSAY LOHAN’s father MICHAEL is pleased with a court order which will s ee the actress confined to California and forced to wear an alcohol-detec ting device - insisting the ruling will help his daughter overcome her pr oblems.
The Mean Girls star left a Beverly Hills courthouse on Monday (24May10) wearing the accessory strapped to her ankle after facing Judge Marsha Re vel, who ordered Lohan not to leave the state and not to drink alcohol or take drugs for the foreseeable future.
The hearing came five days after Lohan missed a mandatory court appeara nce because she was stranded in Europe at the Cannes Film Festival in Fra nce without a passport.
Lohan must wear the tamper-proof device at all times and if she fails t o meet the sober conditions of her bail, the actress faces jail.
Her father Michael Lohan is happy with the conditions set by Judge Reve l and hopes the move will help his daughter put her troubles behind her.
He says, "I’m in favour of anything that keeps my daughter out of jail and helps her with her substance abuse problem. I still contend that the prescription drugs are her major problem."

SARAH JESSICA PARKER has dismissed reports she’s in talks to return for a third SEX AND THE CITY movie - insisting she wants to gauge fans reactio n to the franchise’s upcoming second movie.
The actress admits she’s in a "state of turmoil" as she prepares for th e release of Sex And The City 2 later this month (May10), because she’s s o nervous her fans won’t like it.
Rumours are already rife that Parker, along with lead stars Kim Cattral l, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis, are planning to start work on a third installment.
But Parker is refusing to contemplate bringing the beloved characters b ack to the big screen again - revealing she hasn’t even discussed the pos sibility with writer Michael Patrick King.
She tells Britain’s Live From Studio Five, "I can tell you in all since rity I have never discussed it. Michael and I have never ever, ever had t he conversation. And it’s not even the white elephant in the room, it doe sn’t occur to us to talk about it, and we are at this point superstitious about that conversation.
"We really feel like we are here because of the graciousness of our aud ience and if they show up on May 27th in a meaningful way then we can hav e that conversation. But until then, this was a great joy, it was the exp erience of a lifetime and if that’s the period at the end of our sentence , that’s wonderful. I would never complain."

Tennessee songwriter DANNY TATE has been declared fully capable of managi ng his own affairs after a two-and-a-half-year battle over his legal righ ts with his brother.
The musician, 54, was declared disabled during a court hearing in 2007, which he did not attend.
His brother claimed Tate was a serious drug addict who was incapable of making his own decisions regarding his medical, legal and financial need s.
Tate was subjected to a series of medical tests to prove he was of soun d mind and, during a court hearing on Monday (24May10), Nashville’s Judge Randy Kennedy agreed, allowing him to regain complete control of his lif e.
