BURTON TO TAKE OVER MCQUEEN’S FASHION’S HOUSE
ALEXANDER MCQUEEN’s womenswear adviser, SARAH BURTON, will replace the fa shion icon as his namesake company’s creative director.
McQueen committed suicide in London in February (10).
Burton has been the designer’s sidekick for many years and served as he ad of design for womenswear at the fashion house up until McQueen’s death ..
In a statement she says she hopes to "stay true to his (McQueen) legacy ".
