CHURCH AND HENSON CALL OFF ENGAGEMENT
Welsh singer CHARLOTTE CHURCH has split from her fiance GAVIN HENSON afte r five years together.
The news comes just six weeks after the couple, who have two children t ogether, announced their engagement.
The Crazy Chick hitmaker and the rugby player, who began dating in 2005 , are said to be "distraught" after ending their relationship, according to Britain’s News of the World tabloid.
Henson is expected to move out of their home in Wales where Church will remain with their daughter Ruby, two, and 15-month-old son, Dexter.
A source tells the publication, "It is an incredibly sad state of affai rs. Both Gavin and Charlotte are deeply distraught. But after a lot of so ul-searching, they realised this is the best course of action for them an d the children. It was a mutual decision.
"To the outside world they were a golden couple. The truth is, they had the same insecurities as anyone else. Charlotte is very headstrong. In t he end, Gav found it too much."
