Funk group THE TIME’s reunion is complete - the original line-up of the b and is heading out on tour this summer (10).
The group - one-time proteges of Prince and the villains of his Purple Rain movie - briefly reformed last year (09) for a string of shows in Las Vegas and now the Jungle Love hitmakers are hitting the road.
Shows begin this weekend (29-30May10) in Las Vegas and continue in Chic ago, Detroit and Washington, D.C.
Guitarist Jesse Johnson has confirmed the reunited group is also workin g on a new album.
He tells Spinner.com, "We’ve been completing (it) over the last couple of months. It’s hard to get excited about playing songs that we’ve alread y played before, but I’m excited about the new stuff."
