AUTOPSY FAILS TO OFFER ANSWERS FOR GRAY’S DEATH=20
SLIPKNOT star PAUL GRAY’s death will remain a mystery until toxicology re ports are available after police in Iowa failed to determine a cause foll owing an autopsy.
The bassist was found dead in a suburban Des Moines hotel on Monday (24 May10). He was 38.
Initial reports suggested police did not suspect foul play. In a statem ent released on Tuesday (25May10), officers revealed the death is still u nder investigation.
Polk County Medical Examiner Gregory Schmunk expects the results from t he toxicology tests to be available next month (Jun10).
Police say the autopsy did confirm there was no evidence of foul play o r trauma, and that Gray had been dead for several hours when his body was discovered by a hotel staff member.
