STONES RETURN TO TOP OF U.K. ALBUM CHART

THE ROLLING STONES have stormed to the top of the U.K. album chart for th e first time in 16 years.
The classic rockers’ Exile on Main Street album, which was first issued in 1972, has been remastered and re-released with the addition of severa l new songs - and it has scored the group its first number one since Vood oo Lounge hit the top spot in 1994.
Dance music supergroup Faithless debut The Dance at two on the new coun tdown, while Plan B’s The Defamation of Strickland Banks drops to three.
The Baseballs’ Strike debuts at four and Lady Gaga’s The Fame rounds ou t the new top five.
Meanwhile, in the U.K. singles chart, rapper B.o.B. scores his first U.
K. number one with Nothin’ On You, while Jason Derulo’s Ridin’ Solo hangs on to second place.
Last week’s chart-topper, Roll Deep’s Good Times, slips to three. (KD/W
