DOLLA SUSPECT ACQUITTED OF MURDER
The music promoter accused of killing rapper DOLLA last year (09) has bee n acquitted by a jury.
The 21-year-old rising star, real name Roderick Anthony Burton II, was shot four times outside L.A.’s Beverly Center mall in May (09). He died l ater that day in hospital.
Aubrey Berry, 23, from Atlanta, Georgia, was arrested the same day on his way to LAX Airport and was charged with murder and two counts of assa ult.
He pleaded not guilty to the hip-hop star’s murder and remained in cust ody on $5 million (=C2=A33.3 million) bail.
At the final day of his trial in Los Angeles on Friday (21May10), the j ury returned a not guilty verdict on all charges.
