FOGERTY OPTIMISTIC ABOUT NASHVILLE LOSSES

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 5:42 pm

Rocker JOHN FOGERTY is keeping upbeat after his prized guitars were destr oyed in the recent Tennessee flooding, insisting the loss could have been worse.
The former Creedence Clearwater Revival frontman was one of a number of musicians who lost instruments stored in Nashville warehouses when the c ity was hit by severe storms earlier this month (May10).
But the star refuses to get overly upset about his missing possessions - because much greater tragedies have occurred in his career.
He tells Reuters, "Trust me, I love guitars and it was kind of sad to s ay goodbye to them. But losing a guitar is really nothing compared to los ing a song, or a bunch of songs, or your life savings that was earned by those songs." Fogerty spent years fighting record company executives to win back his catalogue of hits after signing away his copyright.
