CREDITOR WANTS TO SUBMIT LATE JACKSON CLAIM
MICHAEL JACKSON’s former manager wants to file a creditor’s claim against the late star’s estate - four months after a deadline was set for all su bmissions.
Richard Arons, who is said to have worked with the King of Pop for 40 y ears, has asked a judge to accept his claim four months after the due dat e for demands to shares of Jackson’s fortune.
Arons blames Jackson’s estate bosses for failing to tell him he needed to file a claim in order to continue receiving royalty cheques, according to legal documents submitted on Friday (14May10) in Los Angeles County S uperior Court.
A long list of creditors are vying for a stake in Jackson’s assets - hi s former skin doctor Arnold Klein, choreographer LaVelle Smith Jr. and ev en his sister, Janet, and brothers Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon and Ran dy are reportedly listed as potential creditors.
