The pair will appear together in forthcoming movie Beastly, and Disney star Hudgens took the opportunity to get close to her idol off-set.
She tells Nylon magazine, "I love her! I used to be in her fan club. Wh en we were (filming) in Montreal, we’d go shopping and she’d take me to v intage stores." And Olsen became a style guru for the actress: "I would literally just follow her around being like, ‘Help me! What do you look for? Please tell me. Give me your shirts. What’s your shirt secret?’"

Socialite CANDY SPELLING is selling her massive Los Angeles mega-mansion for $150 million (GBP93.75 million).
The Beverly Hills property is one of only five home in America on the m arket for over $100 million (GBP62.5 million) - and it’s the most expensi ve home for sale in the world.
The widow of TV mogul Aaron Spelling says she’s selling up because the mansion, built in 1991, is "too big" for her.
The Holmby Hills estate, known as The Manor, is 56,500 sq ft (5,249 squ are meters), with a 17,000 sq ft (1,579.4 square meters) attic not accoun ted for in the sale plans.
Reports suggest the Spelling estate has 100 rooms.
Spelling tells U.S. TV network MSNBC, "As we get older, you know, it’s a lot to walk."

DAVID HASSELHOFF’s ex-wife PAMELA BACH has been sentenced to spend 90 day s behind bars for drink driving.
A judge in Los Angeles sentenced the singer to 30 days in jail, but ano ther 60 have been added on because her November (09) arrest constitutes a parole violation.
TMZ.com reports Bach will begin her jail time on 3 May (10).
She and Hasselhoff divorced in 2006.

LINDSAY LOHAN’s mother has taken aim at her ex-husband over allegations t he actress is not fit to look after her teenage sister.
Michael Lohan went public with his concerns for 16-year-old Ali’s welfa re after staging a police-led raid on his eldest daughter’s Hollywood hom e on Thursday (22Apr10), suggesting the Mean Girls star was not responsib le enough to play guardian to the student.
He told TMZ.com, "Ali needs to be in a regular school and have a regula r life… Ali is 16. Lindsay is not in the proper frame of mind to deal w ith Ali… I want Ali back at home, I want Ali back in school and I want Lindsay to get help." But his ex-wife Dina, who is Ali and Lindsay’s mum, insists the drama w as unnecessary - and her two daughters are great housemates.
She says, "Lindsay is absolutely, 100 per cent, not (a bad influence). Ali is amazing. She loves her sister. Would I let my daughter go anywhere that’s dangerous? I mean, come on, Ali and Lindsay need to be protected from their ex-father. That’s the dangerous situation… He’s creating a w orse situation for everyone." JARHEAD co-stars JAKE GYLLENHAAL and PETER SARSGAARD fought for real on t he set of the army movie, after a fight scene left the latter with a brok en rib.
Sarsgaard admits he punched Gyllenhaal "as hard as he could in the wind pipe" during a bout of "macho crap", intensified by their real life relat ionship - Sarsgaard is married to Gyllenhaal’s sister Maggie.
The fight took place during a scene that required a mob of soldiers, in cluding Gyllenhaal, to brand Sarsgaard’s character.
Sarsgaard was hurt during the first take - he later discovered he had s uffered a broken rib - and he snapped when director Sam Mendes ordered fu rther takes.
The star tells GQ magazine, "When they came on take two, they looked li ke they were coming just as hard, so I hit Jake as hard as I could in the windpipe and kind of claimed it was an accident and stuff. And they came for a third time, and it was really hard again, and I just… I lost it.
" The pair didn’t speak for 10 days - but he insists the bust-up eventual ly strengthened their friendship.
Sarsgaard adds, "The nice thing is, for Jake, he doesn’t see having any argument as something that ruins a relationship. He sees it as something that could potentially help one.
"I’m extremely close to him. He’s basically my brother."

RUSSELL BRAND received death threats from America’s religious right-wing groups after poking fun at JESUS CHRIST and the JONAS BROTHERS during his first stint as host of the MTV Video Music Awards.
The outrageous Brit signed up to present the 2008 event and admits he w as "naive" to think his edgy comedy wouldn’t spark a backlash from Christ ians.
He admits that likening Britney Spears to Christ and poking fun at the Jonas Brothers’ purity vows made him a target among ultra-conservatives.
Brand tells RollingStone.com, "(I was) green and naive. I thought this should be a laugh… From what I understood of it, what I know now, my de finition of edgy and MTV’s definition of edgy are different.
"I got the death threats to prove it. I learned you don’t make jokes ab out humourless people because they might kill you." He accepts he may have gone too far with some of his gags about then-U.
S. President George W. Bush and the Jonas Brothers, who he personally apo logised to at the end of the show, but the complaints about his Spears/Ch rist joke were a surprise.
He adds, "I didn’t even notice that one, I thought that was just clearl y a joke." But the threats didn’t stop Brand from returning to host the 2009 MTV V ideo Music Awards.

Actor MICHAEL C. HALL has beaten cancer, according to his DEXTER co-star and real-life wife JENNIFER CARPENTER.
Hall announced he was battling Hodgkin’s lymphoma in January (10), but Carpenter tells the Associated Press her "incredibly brave" husband has r eturned to work and has been given the all-clear.
She says, "(He is) fully recovered."

Rocker BRET MICHAELS has had another major health scare after suffering a brain hemorrhage on Thursday night (22Apr10).
The Poison frontman, 47, was recovering from a recent emergency appende ctomy at home in Texas when a blinding headache prompted him to check int o hospital.
Doctors discovered he had suffered a massive subarachnoid hemorrhage, a ccording to People.com.
As WENN went to press with this story, Michaels’ condition was describe d as critical.
A source tells the website, "After several CAT scans, MRIs and an angio gram, (doctors) decided to keep Michaels in the ICU (intensive care unit) and are running several tests to determine the cause. (It) will be touch and go for the next few days while he is under intense observation." Michaels, who is currently shooting U.S. reality show Celebrity Apprent ice, has already scrapped a series of concerts following his appendectomy earlier this month (Apr10).

GREEN DAY stunned audience members at a performance of their Broadway mus ical AMERICAN IDIOT - by jumping on the stage at the end of the show for an impromptu gig.
The production, which is based around the group’s 2004 album of the sam e name, opened in New York on Tuesday night (20Apr10).
And ticket-holders at Thursday night’s (22Apr10) performance were given an extra-special treat after the curtain fell at the end of the show - t he rockers leaped on to the stage and straight into a rendition of the ti tle track.
Frontman Billie Joe Armstrong told the delighted crowd, "This is my fir st night on Broadway." The band played one more song, Basket Case - from their third album, Do okie - before taking a final bow with the cast.
They received a standing ovation from the audience, which included U2 s tar The Edge and Armstrong’s wife and children.

Scottish rockers THE FRATELLIS have blasted reports they’re splitting, in sisting the group is just embarking on a hiatus.
Fans feared bandmembers had gone their separate ways this week, when fr ontman John Fratelli announced they were no longer working together.
In a statement on his official website, Fratelli wrote, "We have no pla ns to work together right now. Sometimes things just work out that way." But he spoke out again on Thursday (22Apr10) via his Twitter.com blog, to insist the split isn’t permanent.
Fratelli Tweeted, "If someone asked you if you fancy some scrambled egg s and you replied: ‘Not just now,’ that doesn’t mean you’ll never fancy t hem, does it!"

ROLLING STONE RONNIE WOOD learned the guitar listening to his band’s sixt ies rivals THE BEATLES.
Wood, who joined the Stones in 1976, admits he picked up tips tuning in to a live jam radio session the Beatles recorded in the 1960s, when he wa s just starting out with his first band The Birds.
The rocker reveals, "They had their own radio show. They were like a bu nch of kids let loose in the studio, shouting and hollering.
"I used to tune in every week and kop (steal) some riffs off them.
"When I was in my first band, we used to get inspired listening to thei r madness and the live tracks they would play."

Former SUPERTRAMP frontman ROGER HODGSON has asked former bandmate RICK D AVIES not to perform any of the songs he wrote when he tours this summer using the band’s name.
Hodgson, who quit Supertramp in 1983, was furious when Davies announced plans to perform a 40th anniversary tour this year, without inviting him to take part.
And he’s now trying to block Davies from using any of the songs Hodgson - the band’s chief songwriter - penned during his time in the group.
Hodgson says, "I expect Rick to honor the agreement he and I made that the band would not play my songs.
"Since the current Supertramp is a vehicle for Rick=E2=80=99s music, wh ich is very different from my style and songs, it=E2=80=99s important for Supertramp to stay true to Rick=E2=80=99s style and songs and avoid doin g covers of my songs. Rick and I both knew that doing that would help cre ate a clear delineation between Supertramp and Roger Hodgson when we agre ed to part ways."

Outspoken singer/songwriter BILLY BRAGG has clashed with his local Britis h National Party leader while campaigning for Labour Party votes on the s treets of Dagenham, London.
The New England singer confronted Richard Barnbrook earlier this week ( beg19Apr10) on the campaign trail and the pair staged a finger-wagging di spute in front of TV cameras - and the politician was back for more on Fr iday (23Apr10).
In a ‘Tweet’ to fans, Bragg wrote, "Just had another confrontation with BNP Barnbrook dressed as (England’s patron saint) St George - him not me .." In his previous street feud with Barnbrook, Bragg told the BNP candidat e his "racist fascist" politics was not an alternative to voters frustrat ed with the Labour Government.
The star told Barnbrook, "You do not represent the people of Barking an d Dagenham… You are exploiting the genuine concerns of people here and you are making the problems worse." Bragg has been leafleting in Barking and Dagenham - one of the BNP’s to p target areas in next month’s (May10) elections.
Barnbrook, who was elected to the London assembly in 2008, has targeted the singer/songwriter on his blog.
The BNP is confident voters will give their far-right candidates contro l of Barking and Dagenham council.

Gay singer/songwriter MELISSA ETHERIDGE is putting her heartbreak aside f ollowing her split from actress TAMMY LYNN MICHAELS so the ex-couple can co-parent their two children.
Etheridge and Michaels announced their separation earlier this month (A pr10) - nine years after they exchanged vows in a commitment ceremony in California.
Tammy gave birth to the couple’s twins, son Miller and daughter Johnnie , who were conceived via an anonymous sperm donor in 2006. Etheridge also has two kids - Bailey, 13, and Beckett, 11 - with former partner Julie C ypher.
And the singer insists she’s got a hold on her emotions, and is focused on being a good mum.
She tells talk show queen Oprah Winfrey, "She’ll (Tammy) always be in m y life. We share two children. The children come first."

Character actor MICHAEL PATAKI has lost his battle with cancer, aged 72.
Pataki, an accomplished voiceover actor, film and television star, died on 15 April (10). The type of cancer was not specified.
His film credits include Rocky IV, the villains in Grave of the Vampire and Airport ‘77, The Onion Field, The Dirt Gang, The Baby and The Bat Pe ople.
Pataki also made a guest appearance on the original Star Trek TV series , and enjoyed other small screen roles on shows including The Twilight Zo ne, My Favorite Martian, The Flying Nun, Bonanza, The Green Hornet and Th e Amazing Spider-Man series.

A former star of hit U.S. reality series BIG BROTHER has been arrested an d charged with violently attacking his pregnant girlfriend.
Matt McDonald, who appeared on season nine, was apprehended by Boston, Massachusetts police last weekend (ends18Apr10) after his girlfriend file d a domestic violence complaint against him.
According to police reports obtained by TMZ.com, the unnamed woman, who is currently eight weeks pregnant with the couple’s child, claimed the p air began arguing after McDonald accused her of cheating on him, and the incident quickly escalated.
She also alleged McDonald accused her of pouring water in his plasma te levision a day after the initial incident, and proceeded to kick her in t he collarbone, put her in a headlock, and punch her in the arms.
McDonald was charged with assault and battery and assault and battery o n a pregnant woman. He is scheduled to appear in court next month (May10) to face the charges.

U.S. TV personality STEPHANIE PRATT is the latest star to strip naked to promote a new PEOPLE FOR THE ETHICAL TREATMENT OF ANIMALS (PETA) campaign ..
The Hills star is the face of PETA’s Be Nice to Bunnies iPhone applicat ion, intended to help the public find stores and products that are kind t o animals.
Pratt’s naked photoshoot was deemed too racy for iPhone, so PETA bosses clothed her for the application cover - but they’ve released the saucy s hoot in it’s entirety for a print campaign.
Explaining why she chose to get involved in the PETA campaign, Pratt sa ys, "Guinea pigs and rats and bunnies=E2=80=A6 (are) blinded, poisoned, a nd burned for such a useless experiment that’s not needed." The star joins Eva Mendes, Khloe Kardashian, Joanna Krupa, and Pamela A nderson, who have all stripped for PETA campaigns.
