AC/DC have returned to the top of the U.K. album chart with a little help from IRON MAN.
The group’s Iron Man 2 soundtrack has beaten Paul Weller to the top spo t and the rockers are well on course to end Lady Gaga’s run at the top of the European album charts.
Iron Man 2 - Official Soundtrack is only AC/DC’s third chart topper in the U.K.
Weller’s Wake Up The Nation debuted at two on the new countdown, with M eat Loaf’s new album Hang Cool Teddy Bear entering the chart at four.
Meanwhile, Diana Vickers’ Once tops the new singles chart in the U.K., ahead of OMG by Usher.

U2’s ACHTUNG BABY has been named the best album of the last 25 years in a new magazine poll.
Editors of American publication Spin are celebrating the monthly magazi ne’s 25th year with countdowns of their top moments and concert highlight s from the quarter-century, and they’ve crowned U2’s 1991 album the best release.
Prince’s Sign O’ The Times came in second and The Smiths’ The Queen is Dead is third.
Nevermind by Nirvana and Radiohead’s OK Computer complete the top five.

Former WESTLIFE star BRIAN MCFADDEN was thrilled when he landed a judging role on AUSTRALIA’S GOT TALENT - because SIMON COWELL personally approve d his appointment.
The Irish singer joined the show in his adopted Down Under homeland in February (10), alongside Dannii Minogue, who judges Cowell’s British real ity series The X Factor.
And McFadden was particularly pleased with the job offer - because it m eant he was in Cowell’s good books.
He says, "Simon sent me a note when I got the job… He has to clear ev erybody because it’s his brand. He was pretty happy I was doing the show.

LILY ALLEN appears to be delaying her impending retirement from pop music - the singer has signed up to perform at a Spanish festival this summer (10).
The Smile hitmaker announced plans to bow out of the music industry in March (10) but rapper Jay-Z managed to persuade her to open up for him at London’s Wireless festival in July (10) for her final stage performance.
But Allen is extending her time in the spotlight - she’s the latest nam e to be added to the line-up for the 2010 Benicassim festival in Spain.
Allen, who joins Kasabian, The Prodigy and Dizzee Rascal on the Benicas sim bill, pulled out of the annual Spanish event last year (09) after com ing down with gastroenteritis.

Hit family film HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON has returned to the top of the U ..S. box office after narrowly losing out to KICK-ASS last week (18Apr10).
The animated movie made $15 million (=C2=A39.4 million) five weeks afte r it first hit cinemas to finish ahead of new releases The Losers, Oceans and Jennifer Lopez’s new film The Back-Up Plan.
How to Train Your Dragon has made a total of $178 million (=C2=A3111.3 million) in the U.S. alone.
The Back-Up Plan finished in second place with a modest $12.25 million (=C2=A37.7 million).

The producers and cast of hit reality show THE HILLS are in talks to exte nd the show’s ending after discovering series exes BRODY JENNER and KRIST IN CAVALLARI still have feelings for each other.
Cavallari has revealed there are plans to shoot an extra 12 episodes th at could revolve around her relationship with hunk Jenner, who is reporte dly dating Avril Lavigne.
She tells Eonline.com, "I would like to do it. I’m in such a rhythm wit h things and I’m having a great time. We’re just now starting to get into some really good juicy stuff with a few new people. So I think we could do another 12 episodes and make it pretty good.
"And I can’t deny the fact that he (Jenner) is one of the most good loo king men in the entire world. We have a lot of fun together. I don’t know if we could ever really get back together and be serious, but we are sor t of trying to see if we could." And Cavallari hopes the extended finale will lure former castmate Laure n Conrad back to the show: "I think it would be so great if she did (come back). PIERCE BROSNAN had tired of movie superspy JAMES BOND during the making o f his second 007 adventure, TOMORROW NEVER DIES, and now reveals promotin g the film was difficult - because he didn’t like it.
The suave star, who played Bond in four films, admits he had a great ti me shooting GoldenEye, but knew the follow-up wasn’t as good.
He tells Venice magazine, "I remember starting the first day on that fi lm in an aircraft, flying a jet… and it was 102 degrees, and I’m wearin g a helmet and sweater, and then I’m being strangled over and over again, and I thought, ‘Oh my God, this bloody character is going to kill me.’ "The press tour for that film was 22 countries. When I did it I knew th e movie wasn’t up to speed; it wasn’t as good as GoldenEye and you have t o bang the drum loudly to get the attention." Brosnan came to the end of his run as 007 after 2002’s Die Another Day.
He was replaced by British actor Daniel Craig.
Looking back, the Irishman admits he always struggled as the movie spy: "I never felt that I really nailed it."

The members of Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band THE RASCALS reunited for onl y the second time in 40 years to celebrate their most famous fan, rocker STEVEN VAN ZANDT.
The Good Lovin’ hitmakers split in 1970 and the four original bandmates have turned down a series of lucrative offers to tour.
They only got together in 1997 for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inducti on, and asked pal Van Zandt to honour them at the ceremony.
And when the E Street Band star asked them to reunite again at the Kris ten Ann Carr Fund gala in New York on Saturday (24Apr10), bandmates Gene Cornish, Eddie Brigati, Dino Danelli and Felix Cavaliere agreed.
But Cornish insists the get together won’t mark a full reunion: "I spea k on behalf of the band when I say all the money offers in the world coul d not entice the Rascals to reunite." Van Zandt and his wife Maureen were honoured by the charity for all the work they’ve carried out for the fund, which was founded in 1993 by Bruc e Springsteen’s co-manager Barbara Carr and her husband Dave Marsh to hon our their daughter, who died from sarcoma.
And the rocker was thrilled when his heroes reunited to salute him: "We first met around 1980 to discuss reuniting the band and have tried every five years or so. Maureen suggested we give it one more shot and sure en ough it took Kristen’s amazing spirit to finally get it done.
"My hope is they can stay together and finally show the world why they are one of rock & roll history’s greatest bands."

EDDIE MURPHY’s ex-wife is attempting to evict music producer DAMON THOMAS from her California home, alleging he’s failed to pay more than $100,000 (=C2=A367,000) in rent.
Nicole Murphy claims Thomas, who was once married to reality TV star Ki m Kardashian, has been missing his monthly $30,000 (=C2=A320,000) payment s on the mansion in Calabasas.
Thomas owes a total of $114,500 (=C2=A376,000), according to eviction p apers filed by Murphy in Los Angeles County Superior Court earlier this m onth (Apr10).
Thomas tells TMZ.com he is actually trying to purchase the property fro m Murphy and has since paid off the debt.
