RADCLIFFE HOSTS CHARITY DINNER FOR INJURED STUNTMAN
DANIEL RADCLIFFE has helped his injured HARRY POTTER stunt double raise m oney for medical bills by hosting a charity dinner in London.
The generous star held the gala this week (begs26Apr10) to benefit Davi d Holmes, who suffered severe spinal injuries after taking a fall while f ilming dangerous scenes for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows last yea r (09).
Holmes, who stands in for Radcliffe and has worked on all of the franch ise’s installments, is now confined to a wheelchair and cannot work.
Guests paid $150 (=C2=A3100) each for a ticket to attend the dinner and an auction featured a pair of signed boxing gloves donated by Angelina J olie and Brad Pitt, which raised $6,000 (=C2=A34,000) to help pay for the 26 year old’s medical care.
