Irish singer SHANE LYNCH didn’t hesitate when he was asked to strip for t he new BOYZONE video - because he saw the saucy scenes as a chance to mes s with the band’s clean-cut image.
In the promo for Love Is a Hurricane, Lynch shed his clothes, and he ad mits it was a deliberate ploy to move Boyzone in a new direction.
He tells Britain’s Live From Studio Five, "I actually suggested it. Me and the boys have always done tame videos and I said to the lads one day, ‘We need to get naked!’ "The album we’ve released is a different step forward for us boys, it i s an obvious transformation musically. The video was a visual transformat ion. I just said, ‘Let’s push the boat out and do things differently.’" (
