CAMERON ABOARD MARS MISSION
Moviemaker JAMES CAMERON has signed up for a new space mission - he’ll he lp NASA boffins create a new 3D camera for use on Mars.
The forward-thinking Avatar director has been called on as a consultant by the technical experts building a high-resolution 3D camera for use on trips to the planet.
The gadget will be mounted atop the next rover mission to Mars, which i s set for launch in 2011.
