HILTONS HIT WITH ROYALTIES LAWSUIT
PARIS HILTON’s parents have been hit with a lawsuit from bosses at a weig htloss company, who allege the couple has been receiving product royaltie s from a line which was axed in 2002.
Chiefs at Herbalife International filed papers against Rick and Kathy H ilton on Tuesday (27Apr10) claiming they were being paid royalties "erron eously" after originally backing the company in the 1990s.
The documents show that in 1992, the Hiltons provided services to Herba life in a bid to launch a line of weightloss products.
The items were discontinued in 2002 after it was discovered they contai ned the drug ephedrine, which was banned by the Food and Drug Administrat ion (FDA).
However, the Hiltons have allegedly been receiving royalties ever since then - and Herbalife bosses are battling to get the cash back, according to TMZ.com.
