CRAWFORD ‘FINDS ROMANCE’ IN VOLCANIC ASH CHAOS
GOSSIP GIRL star CHACE CRAWFORD found romance amongst the volcano travel chaos - he was spotted enjoying a date while he was stranded in London fo llowing the Icelandic eruption, according to reports.
The actor jetted into London early last week (beg19Apr10) to promote hi s new movie Twelve, but found himself stuck in Britain after flights acro ss northern Europe were grounded due to the heavy cloud of ash floating i n the skies above.
And Crawford is said to have used the opportunity to spend time with a British actress, named only as Tessa.
The 24 year old was spotted enjoying an evening out with the blonde bea uty, and he was photographed leaving a London night spot with his arm aro und her waist.
A source tells New York Post gossip column Page Six, "Chace was trapped in London, so he spent his time with Tessa. They were introduced by a fr iend and really hit it off. He had to return to the U.S. for work, but he hopes he’ll see her again."
