USHER DENIES BASING PAPERS ON OWN DIVORCE

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:21 pm

USHER has laughed off speculation his song PAPERS is about his own split from ex-wife TAMEKA FOSTER, insisting the track was recorded when he "did n’t know" his marriage would end in divorce.
The R&B hitmaker appears to pour out his heart over the bitter break-up on the new tune, accusing Foster of driving a wedge between himself and his mother.
In Papers, he sings, "I damn near lost my mama/I had been through so mu ch drama that I turned into the man I never thought I=E2=80=99d be/I=E2=80 =99m ready to sign those papers." The track was written before he filed for divorce from the mother of hi s two children, but gossips were convinced the lyrics were based on his o wn relationship - Usher severed links with his manager/mother when she re portedly disapproved of her son’s plans to wed the stylist in 2007.
Usher admits he drew some comparisons from his own relationship history for the song, but confesses had no idea his life would mirror his art un til the couple split last year (09).
He tells MTV News, "When the song was recorded, I wasn’t divorced.
"It was some reality in the contrast of trying to make it all work, hav ing to balance a career and having a normal life. Coming in at six in the morning and arguing was a reality when you have those types of relations hips.
"I felt that in a way, the story did touch on certain things at the tim e. I didn’t know how realistic it would become. I didn’t know I would bec ome divorced… Unfortunately, it did become a reality." Usher’s divorce was finalised in November (09).

HEATHER MILLS’ former nanny SARA TRUMBLE was forced to lie to SIR PAUL Mc CARTNEY after the couple’s bitter split, a tribunal in the U.K. has heard ..
The child carer alleges she was ordered to tell the Beatles legend that his estranged wife was not at home whenever he called to collect their d aughter Beatrice for a day out.

The former nanny is taking legal action against Mills, claiming sexual discrimination and constructive dismissal after losing her job in 2008.
She told the hearing, "When Paul (came) to the house I had to go out an d hand over Beatrice. If Heather was there at the time I would have to sa y she wasn’t. Paul would call me a liar. I had to say things that weren’t true to Paul… (Later) Paul offered me a gift. It was after my resignat ion. I declined it several times. He said it was for my hard work and loy alty. It is difficult for me to talk about. Paul didn’t want anyone to kn ow he had given me this money. I don’t want to get Paul involved but I ha ve been forced to disclose this." But Mills, who refutes Trumble’s claims, later told the hearing she was so close to Trumble, she considered her a member of the family.
Mills said, "I treated Sara like my daughter as she often complained th at her mother was cold and distant to her. I spent much of my time consol ing her, especially when she said she was having problems with her partne r." Mills also alleged Trumble asked her to be godmother to her own daughte r, adding: "She said it was because I had taken such good care of her and she could think of no one better. I was delighted." Actor EWAN MCGREGOR has blasted GEORGE W. BUSH and former British Prime M inister TONY BLAIR over the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The Trainspotting star is furious ex-U.S. President Bush has not been c alled to account for his decision to invade the two countries - and is di smayed Blair never apologised for the U.K.’s involvement in the controver sial conflict.
He insists it was right the former British leader gave evidence to the Iraq Inquiry in London earlier this year (10) but is adamant the two ex-p oliticians should be made to provide more answers.
McGregor says, "My thing about politicians is that ultimately they’re n ever really accountable for what they do. I think that’s awful. No one go es, ‘Wait a minute, Tony - before you go, don’t you think we have a right to know about this and this?’ People are dead, there’s blood on the stre ets, and is anyone accountable? I was pleased that Blair had to sit down and answer for his decisions. And saddened that Bush never will.
"Bush has retired to the golf course. I cannot stomach that. It’s not r ight. Blair hasn’t said sorry or, by all accounts, made any comment to th e kids who lost their arms and legs and eyes. Probably thousands of kids - and he hasn’t visited them. I don’t know how you live with yourself, re ally."
