Actor WOODY HARRELSON has exploded the myth he’s a sex addict - insisting a remark he once made was blown out of proportion.
The movie star was once asked about rumours he was hooked on sex and he responded by stating, "I can’t think of anything better to be addicted t o." But he admits the joke went too far and now he’s keen to go public with the absolute truth.
In a new Hustler interview with the publication’s boss Larry Flynt, Har relson says, "It came out that I described myself as a sex addict. That’s not true. I can go through long droughts." But the actor admits he has wasted a lot of time chasing women.

MICHAEL LOHAN is convinced the breakdown of his marriage pushed daughter LINDSAY into her alleged prescription drug habit - because she never need ed medication before he and his ex-wife DINA split.
The actress made her name in kids’ movies, including Disney’s remake of The Parent Trap, and became a household name for her turn in 2004’s Mean Girls.
But, as her parents’ marriage faltered and then ended in divorce in 200 7, Lohan turned to partying to help her through the difficult time, accor ding to her father Michael.
He’s sure that his daughter was prescribed medication as a coping mecha nism - but he’s convinced she never needed it in the first place.
At a press conference he staged on Tuesday (30Mar10), Michael explained , "When Lindsay started acting until the pinnacle of her career she never needed a prescription drug. During our divorce she partied a bit and the n she was prescribed meds (medication).
"Lindsay doesn’t need it, but she’s become addicted to it. When you com bine that with non-legal drugs and alcohol it can become toxic and cost y ou your life." And Michael is determined to do what it takes to help Lindsay - even if it means the actress ends up hating him.

James’ wife Sandra Bullock is apparently on the verge of filing for div orce from the TV mechanic after walking out on him following the first in a line of infidelity allegations.
And Daguerre insists she would never have messed around with James if s he was sure he was married.
She tells People, "I wish it never happened, to be honest… All this a ttention is what I really don’t like.
"I made a mistake in thinking that there was a possibility with Jesse, when there wasn’t. But I didn’t do anything that bad, because, as soon as I felt that something wasn’t right, I stayed home. Former REFUSED frontman DENNIS LYXZEN has dismissed reports the Swedish r ock band is reforming after a 12 year hiatus, insisting the band will not reunite.
The cult rockers split in 1998 after seven years together, and Lyxzen w ent on to form hardcore band AC4 with his former bandmate, drummer David Sandstrom, in 2008.
Earlier this month (Mar10), a statement reading "Refused, coming soon..
.." was posted on the band’s website officialrefused.com, sparking rumours of a comeback. But Lyxzen insists a reunion is not in the works.
He says, "No, we are not reforming. Me and David are going on tour next week with our new Hardcore band AC4 - sleeping on kids floors and playin g doordeals, that seems to be more in line with what we deserve." (JMA/WN

TWILIGHT author STEPHENIE MEYER is expanding the vampire franchise once a gain - a novella based on a character in her 2007 novel ECLIPSE is set fo r release this summer (10).
The writer, whose teen vampire saga has inspired the blockbuster film s eries, has signed a deal to release The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner on 5 June (10).
The novella is told from the viewpoint of Bree, a newborn vampire featu red in Eclipse - the second of four novels Meyer has written in the Twili ght saga.
According to publishers at Little Brown Books for Young Readers, one do llar from the sale of each book sold in the U.S. from the first printing of 1.5 million copies will be donated to the American Red Cross Internati onal Response Fund, which supports disaster relief efforts.

The Messenger star tells Hustler magazine, "When I was 23, 24, I used t o have a really bad runny nose, mucus, tons of acne, reddishness all over .. A woman on a bus I took looked at me and said I was lactose intolerant.
"(She said), ‘Stop dairy for three days, and all this is going to go aw ay.’ I stopped dairy, and sure enough it was gone three days later, never to return except when I get dairy accidentally."

Reality TV star JASON WAHLER has been charged with two counts of driving under the influence (DUI) following his arrest in California earlier this month (Mar10).
The former The Hills star was taken into custody in Newport Beach on 19 March (10), just days after finding himself in trouble with police in Me xico following a bar brawl.
Wahler’s latest run-in with the law has left him facing up to six month s in jail if convicted, after the Orange County District Attorney filed t wo crimes against him on Tuesday (30Mar10), reports TMZ.com.
He has since returned to his sobriety meetings in a bid to kick his dri nk problem once and for all.

LINDSAY LOHAN’s father is preparing to jet to Los Angeles in a bid to per suade his troubled daughter to check into rehab - because he’s terrified she will die without professional help.
The Mean Girls star has earned herself a reputation as a Hollywood wild child in recent years thanks to a string of boozy nights out, arrests for drug possession and driving violations and a stint in rehab.
The 23 year old hit the headlines again earlier this month (Mar10) when she was photographed falling into a cactus bed after a night out in Los Angeles. She was also snapped with a mystery white dust billowing from he r designer shoes last week (ends26Mar10).
Michael Lohan, who has publicly spoken about his daughter’s alleged pre scription drug addiction in the past, admits he’s seriously worried for t he actress’ health - and he’s appealing for her to seek professional help before it’s too late.
During a press conference on Tuesday (30Mar10), he explained, "Lindsay’ s not OK. I think we’ve seen that, we all know that. It’s really hard for me to do this. A lot of my family members know what’s going on.
"I’ve tried every way possible to reach out to my daughter - talking, t ext, we’ve met. And, in difficult times, she reaches out to me. It happen ed last week when she fell into the cactus. She said, ‘I need security.’ I’m her father and I love her.
"I think we all see and know what’s happening with Lindsay. I get calls from her closest friends and it’s worse than you can imagine. My daughte r needs to let me help her. I don’t want her to be a statistic. My heart goes out to people who have lost their children." Michael Lohan is seeking to meet with his daughter’s legal team because he wants to help them rid the star of disruptive influences in her life.
He adds, "Lindsay needs help now and I’m asking everyone out there to h elp her and if you’re an enabler (to Lindsay) get out of there. I want to meet with Lindsay’s lawyers and sit down with her privately to work some thing out, discuss the situation.
"If she refuses to do so I guess we will take out measures. I hope Lind say is accommodating. We all know the truth. God knows the truth. I love her and I want her to be healthy. Her life will not be taken from me." Michael Lohan’s press conference comes just weeks after he was reported ly hospitalised with with chest pains as he prepared for a celebrity boxi ng match.
He is reportedly taking medication to thin his blood, and is also on an ti-angina drug nitroglycerin, according to reports.
Lohan made no mention of his medical condition during the press confere nce.
