He tells Britain’s The Sun, "I went to Scotland and travelled around ye ars ago. I went everywhere, saw it all. Edinburgh and Glasgow were specia l - the architecture is something there.
"When I was in Glasgow I got involved with this girl. She happened to b e the ex-girlfriend of a bit of a bad guy. I ended up having to get out o f town because I was getting ‘that’ look from a guy behind a bar.
"I think there is something about rival gangs in the city and I was abo ut to find I was involved. I had to get out of there. It was heavy." But Pitt has vowed to overcome his worries if a role requires him to sh oot in the country. He adds: "Last year (director) Matthew (Vaughn) and I were looking at doing some filming up there. We had a look at some castl es. We’ll definitely be back."

Finance workers have been embroiled in controversy in recent months aft er it was revealed some firms handed out huge bonuses to their top staff, despite vowing to slash payouts during the worldwide financial crisis.
The trio of Brit stars have lent their support to the ‘Not complicated.
Just brilliant’ campaign, which is calling for banks to pay an extra tax on transactions between other financial institutions that can then be pa ssed on to the country’s public services.
Nighy has starred in a short online film - directed by Richard Curtis - calling for the tax, while Thompson and Miller have donned ‘Robin Hood’ masks to promote the cause.

Tattooed model Michelle McGee rocked Bullock’s marriage with allegation s she enjoyed a secret relationship with the actress’ partner Jesse James ..
McGee, who sold her story to a U.S. tabloid, is now looking to stop a s eries of saucy tapes and images of her hitting the web.
Her manager has written to the owners of a website called ShockMansion.
com, insisting all videos, photos, or "graphic representations" of McGee can not be posted on the website or sold for publication.
The letter, obtained by TMZ.com, threatens legal action if any of the f ootage hits the web.

MO’NIQUE was given a scare on the first night of her comedy tour - she wa s trapped in an elevator for 20 minutes after the show.
The Oscar-winner kicked off her Spread the Love stand-up shows in New O rleans, Louisiana last Friday (19Mar10), but the opening night turned sou r after the jokes ended and the star was ushered off to meet fans backsta ge.
Mo’Nique entered an elevator with several associates and a camera crew from U.S. TV show Entertainment Tonight when the carriage came to a sudde n halt and they were left stranded.
The comedienne soon became irritated and phoned her husband, Sidney Hic ks, to complain, yelling into her cell phone, ‘We’re stuck in an elevator ! Do something!" Mo’Nique was later handed the security guard’s walkie-talkie and she wa s filmed shouting irately, "I am stuck in this damn elevator! I don’t kno w what’s going on, but I will be up there as soon as they let me out of t his damn elevator. I’m trying not to cuss! I am stuck on the elevator!" After 20 minutes, the doors were released and Mo’Nique was able to meet and greet the waiting fans, telling them, ‘Thank you all for being so pa tient."

Cancer-stricken DENNIS HOPPER has accused his estranged wife of stealing valuable works of art from him while he was "extremely ill".
The 73 year old filed for divorce from Victoria Duffy in January (10), citing irreconcilable differences. He subsequently won a court judgement which forced her to move out of his Venice, California residence, and a r estraining order to make sure she stays away after a doctor claimed her p resence was "hampering" the actor’s prostate cancer care.
The Easy Rider star’s legal team filed papers at Los Angeles Superior C ourt on Tuesday (23Mar10) as part of their ongoing divorce battle, and an affidavit from Hopper alleges Duffy removed some of his property while h e was undergoing treatment.
Hopper claims missing pieces from his art collection include a portrait of him by Andy Warhol, and works by Robert Graham and British graffiti a rtist Banksy, believed to be worth more than $1.5 million (=C2=A31 millio n).
The statement demands Duffy return the "valuable works of art she liter ally stole from me," adding, "(She) surreptitiously removed from my home very valuable personal property while I was extremely ill, refused to tel l me where the property was when I asked her, and then left town." Duffy has refuted the allegations, telling New York Post gossip column Page Six, "I removed my own property. He is making a big deal about me re moving things that are legally mine from the house. I have legal letters saying they belong to me."

EWAN MCGREGOR’s representative has shot down reports the Scottish actor i s set to play the lead in MADONNA’s new movie about late British royal KI NG EDWARD VIII.
The Material Girl is stepping behind the camera to direct a historical drama based on the former King, who abdicated in 1936 so he could marry t wice-divorced American socialite Wallis Simpson.
The Trainspotting star was reported to have signed up to play the lead in the upcoming movie.

Hip-hop heavyweight MARION ‘SUGE’ KNIGHT has helped boost a pal’s film ca reer by attacking his rap rivals on camera.
The former Death Row Records boss is the focus of young filmmakers Jaba ri Henley and Shane Taylor’s short, The Mic, which pokes fun at rap stars like Eminem and Dr. Dre.
Knight agreed to rant about his rivals as a favour to pal Big U - Henle y’s father.
Producer Josh Sands, who oversaw the project at the Hollywood Film & Ac ting Academy, says, "Jabari and Shane came to me with this idea and said they could get Suge Knight on camera. I wasn’t convinced but then he just showed up. He was here for about two hours.
"He’s a very intimidating character, but a real natural in front of the camera." The short was shot three weeks ago and has only just been completed - b ecause Knight’s comments had to be heavily edited.
Sands adds, "He doesn’t mention Dr. Dre or Eminem by name but it’s clea r who he’s talking about and some of the things he said were really graph ic. Legally we couldn’t release some parts of the interview.
"In the end we had about five minutes and our plan is to put the film o nline to help promote the Hollywood Film & Acting Academy."

British rapper DAPPY is convinced he would have been jailed or ended up d ead if he hadn’t created hip-hop act N-DUBZ.
The star, real name Dino Contostavlos, endured a troubled childhood and has a criminal record after he was convicted of spitting in a woman’s fa ce during a drunken brawl in 2008.
Contostavlos vowed to turn his life around after his dad caught him as a teenager with drugs and weapons - and warned him he would be jailed if he continued to spiral out of control.
The star’s late father encouraged his son to play music instead of gett ing himself into trouble before he passed away in 2007 - and Dappy credit s music with saving him from a life of crime.
He says, "If I weren’t in N-Dubz, I’d say I’d be either dead or in jail .. One of the two if I never did music. Straight up dead or in jail.
"When I was a teenager I was getting up to all sorts to make money. The n I had a scare. I realised I could go to prison for years of my life. It was my dad who caught me - and it was him who pushed us all to take the better turn… He would come into my bedroom and find me with serious dru gs or maybe some sort of weapon and shout at me. I was 16.
"He said, ‘What are you doing with this in your hand? You don’t need th at. You are going to go down, you are going to go down… Mainly, the cha nge to our attitude came because I had love from my mum Zoi and my dad, a nd that’s what made me drag myself up out of being a little s**t - out on the streets doing badness.
"I wanted to make them proud and I didn’t want to make my mum cry any m ore. She used to weep and say: ‘You’re not like this, I didn’t raise you to be this person.’"

GUNS N’ ROSES’ South American tour has been hit with more trouble - 12 fa ns were arrested outside a concert in Argentina on Monday night (22Mar10) after reportedly trying to force their way into the venue.
The rockers caused controversy earlier this month (Mar10) when they can celled a private concert in Sao Paulo, Brazil at the last minute - with f ans reportedly storming the stage at the club in protest. Another gig in the country was scrapped when the stage at the Rio de Janeiro venue colla psed in stormy weather conditions.
And the band was at the centre of more problems at their Velez stadium gig in Buenos Aires on Monday after a number of fans tried to enter the v enue without tickets.
Members of the crowd started throwing bottles, while cops used gas and rubber bullets to disperse the revellers, reports Blabbermouth.com.
The website reports at least 12 fans were detained by police.
And it wasn’t the only issue concerning the concert - after starting tw o hours late, frontman Axl Rose reportedly asked a translator to tell the audience to stop throwing items on to the stage.
Guns N’ Roses are currently playing an 11-date tour in South America, w hich will also see them perform in Ecuador, Uruguay, Chile, Peru, Venezue la and Colombia in April (10).

The fourth installment of the AUSTIN POWERS movie is picking up pace - di rector JAY ROACH has confirmed he’s heading back to the film franchise.
Last year (09) creator Mike Myers announced he had begun work on anothe r sequel following the success of first three installments, which garnere d more than $676 million (=C2=A3450 million) at the worldwide box office.
Verne Troyer, who played Mini-Me in two of the films, has previously ba cked the project and urged Myers to speed up the writing process.
And now Roach has confirmed the actor is concentrating on bringing the fourth movie to the big screen.
He says, "(Mike is) working on ideas for it, people are definitely talk ing about it and I’m all good for it", before adding the next installment will go "somewhere you haven’t thought of".

Actor ZACH BRAFF has fuelled speculation hit U.S. TV show SCRUBS will be scrapped next year (11) - by posting a message on his Facebook.com page s aying the series is "no more".
The hospital comedy has garnered a cult following since its launch in 2 001, but its future was seemingly left hanging in the balance last year ( 09) when lead actor Braff announced he was quitting.
Show creator Bill Lawrence extended the show with a ninth season, follo wing new castmembers as they train to become doctors at medical school.
Braff, who plays Dr. John ‘JD’ Dorian in the show, signed up to star in six episodes of the reformatted programme as a doctor training the cast of new students.
But now the actor seems to have confirmed the show will not return for another season, despite efforts to keep the series going.
In a post on his Facebook page, he writes, "Many of you have asked, so here it is: It appears that ‘New Scrubs,’ ‘Scrubs 2.0,’ ‘Scrubs with new kids,’ ‘Scrubbier,’ ‘Scrubs without JD’ is no more. It was worth a try, b ut alas … it didn’t work. ZB".
A representative for ABC insists an official decision on the show’s fut ure has not yet been made.

SANDRA BULLOCK and JESSE JAMES’ representatives have slammed reports the pair has contacted divorce lawyers following the cheating scandal which h as rocked their marriage.
The Oscar-winning actress is rumoured to have moved out of the family h ome after a tattooed model went public with allegations she enjoyed a sex ual relationship with James last year (09).
