British hip-hop star RICHARD ‘FAZER’ RAWSON was once caught stealing from his N-DUBZ bandmate’s father.
The rapper formed the band with his childhood pal Dino ‘Dappy’ Contosta vlos, but admits their friendship was once rocked by his bad behaviour.
Rawson has revealed his friend’s parents were warned to keep their son away from his new pal when they first starting spending time together at the age of 12, and he fuelled their mistrust when he was caught swiping a cell phone from the family’s home.
He explains, "I remember the first day I went to Dappy’s house to meet his mum and dad. Byron (Dappy’s father) said to me, ‘I’ve been told not t o let my son hang around with you, but I won’t stop you. Don’t you get my son into no s**t, though.’ "Then I went and stole his phone. I saw the phone lying the side when h e left the room and I just pocketed it. He came in and was cursing, ‘Wher e’s my phone, you little s**t?’ He pulled another phone out of his pocket and dialled a number and his phone started ringing in my pocket." But Rawson was stunned when Contostavlos’ dad offered to give him the p hone, and admits he never behaved badly around the family again.
He adds, "He said, ‘If you can’t get your own then I will give it to yo u, if that’s the only way.’ I didn’t take it, but from then on I never to ok the p**s with him again."

Movie star/singer ZOOEY DESCHANEL almost missed out on her music career b ecause she spent years too shy to share her material.
The (500) Days of Summer actress has become an indie music star thanks to her She & Him album collaboration with Matt Ward.
But Deschanel’s flourishing recording career almost floundered because she was so nervous about playing her songs to other people.
She says, "I remember walking into the studio at (bassist) Mike Coykend all’s house for the first time. Matt and Mike were both like, ‘Okay, here ’s the piano and here’s the vocal mic. Off you go.’ "That was me in my most vulnerable state - that experience of sitting i n a room and presenting something you’ve done completely on your own is s o different to what I’m used to. I fell into acting when I was young and you’re usually working with a big group of people - if you take a fall, y ou all fall together.
"When it comes to songs that I’ve written myself, there’s something tha t’s thrilling and at the same time terrifying about playing them for some one that you really admire. My doing that for Matt took a lot of gumption .."

American rocker IVAN MOODY is suffering from cuts and bruises after he wa s injured in a car crash on Monday (22Mar10).
The Five Finger Death Punch frontman avoided serious injury when the ve hicle he was driving skidded on black ice and rolled over.
But he’s feeling extra sore - because the car belonged to his mother.
Moody tells The Pulse of Radio, "About a year ago, I bought my mom a ca r for her birthday. Of course it’s her dream car, it’s this beautiful Jag uar, and the other night she decided to let me use it. So I’m borrowing h er car and it’s got rear wheel drive, I completely space out (forget) tha t those things are just rotten on black ice, I hit some ice, you know, fl ip it a couple of times and just ended up in the middle of a snowbank. Hi t my head on the side of the windshield and it wasn’t very pretty." The accident is believed to have taken place near Moody’s Denver, Color ado hometown.

LUDACRIS is disappointed he failed to convince LAURYN HILL to collaborate on a new song after the reclusive singer/rapper turned down the hip-hop star’s efforts to feature her on his new album.
The Stand Up hitmaker recruited a host of female rappers for his latest project Battle of the Sexes, including Eve, Lil Kim, Trina and Nicki Min aj.
But Ludacris admits there was one other big name he was hoping to land a duet with - even though Hill has collaborated with few artists since he r days in the Fugees with Wyclef Jean and Pras Michel.
He tells the Associated Press, "I think Lauryn Hill is like extremely t alented and I can say I did try to do that (organise a duet), it just did n’t work itself out." Hill has not released a disc of new material since her debut, The Mised ucation of Lauryn Hill, in 1998.

Punk star ‘FAT MIKE’ BURKETT has defended his decision to hand out shots of urine-tainted tequila to fans during his performance at a recent music festival, insisting he did not break any laws with the sick stunt.
The NOFX bassist played a solo set as his alter ego Cokie the Clown at the South by Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas last week (begs15Mar10) and appeared to treat fans to a few rounds of Patron during his show, dow ning a couple himself, according to Pinpoint Music.
But his willing participants were in for a shock when he then aired a s hort video showing him urinating into a bottle of tequila - which was the n served to the audience.
Burkett is now facing the wrath of his devotees - but he has no regrets and insists he checked out the legality of the stunt before he did it.
He tells TMZ.com, "I confirmed that urine was not classified as a bioha zard waste and not subject to the risks of legal ramifications of blood, semen, or faeces." Burkett is now reportedly facing an investigation by officials at the A ustin Health Department, who admitted they had no prior knowledge of the incident.

Country star TIM MCGRAW is confident his THE BLIND SIDE co-star SANDRA BU LLOCK will emerge a stronger person following the cheating scandal surrou nding her husband JESSE JAMES, because she’s a "tough" person.
Bullock’s marriage to James has been rocked by allegations of the TV me chanic’s infidelity after tattooed model Michelle McGee went public with claims she had an 11-month affair with the actress’ husband while she was on location shooting The Blind Side.
Two other women have since come forward with similar affair tales.
The Oscar winner reportedly moved out of the family home in Long Beach, California earlier this month (Mar10) and has been keeping a low profile amid the allegations - but McGraw is adamant Bullock will bounce back fr om her personal problems.
And the singer, who is married to fellow country star Faith Hill, is fu ll of admiration for the actress, because he can’t imagine dealing with s uch a public scandal.
He tells Entertainment Tonight Canada, "I haven’t (reached out to Bullo ck). You know, she’s got a lot on her plate. I just wish her nothing but the best.
"She’s tough. I’m not that tough."

TILDA SWINTON credits late British director DEREK JARMAN with helping her forge a successful acting career - because she would have quit film with out his encouragement.
The pair became friends in 1985 at the casting call for his movie Carav aggio, and the Michael Clayton star is convinced the encounter changed he r life.
She says, "If I hadn’t met Derek, I wouldn’t have carried on performing .. I probably would have become a professional gambler.
"At the time, I was working the horses a bit. What he offered me was a home (in film). We didn’t fit in. I knew I didn’t want to be in a corset in Merchant Ivory Films." UGLY BETTY star AMERICA FERRERA has recruited her TV co-stars to boost he r ongoing campaign to raise funds to build an elementary school in Mali.
The actress, an ambassador for the Save the Children charity, has been working on the cause since December (09), when she appealed to fans onlin e to aid her efforts to improve access to education in the African countr y.
Now Ferrera has called upon her colleagues, such as Ana Ortiz, Mark Ind elicato and Michael Urie, to join her at an event in New York next month (Apr10), where they will discuss an upcoming episode of Ugly Betty in sup port of the charity.
The fundraiser, held at Axelle Fine Arts Gallery on 12 April (10), will also see a portrait of Ferrera as her character Betty Suarez, by painter Matt Hartley, auctioned off to benefit the Save the Children school camp aign.

MAMMA MIA! star AMANDA SEYFRIED has confessed she started rumours movie b osses were planning a sequel to the musical hit - because she’s desperate to reprise her role.
The actress found fame - and love with co-star Dominic Cooper - when sh e landed a lead role in the ABBA-inspired 2008 film.
Director Phyllida Lloyd was last year (09) reported to be working on a follow-up - but Seyfried admits she took the gossip she’d heard and sprea d it around Hollywood.
She tells Cinema Blend, "I think I might have started that rumour. I st arted sharing a rumour that I heard that there was a Mamma Mia! 2." But the actress now concedes there’s unlikely to be a sequel - and if t here is, it won’t feature her, Cooper or co-star Pierce Brosnan.
She adds, "My boyfriend (Cooper) had talked to Phyllida (Lloyd) and she said that if they do Mamma Mia! they are going to use a whole new cast a nd do a prequel. And then that’s when I said no, it’s not going to happen ..
"And Pierce (Brosnan) recently said that it wasn’t going to happen eith er. So sadly no."

LIEV SCHREIBER struggles to focus on his lines before each performance of Broadway play A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE - because lusty teenage boys often use the hushed silence to express their undying love for his co-star SCAR LETT JOHANSSON.
The pair is currently starring in the Arthur Miller classic on the New York stage, but Schreiber admits his concentration is frequently broken a s he prepares for the curtain to go up each night.

LADY GAGA has dismissed rumours her next music video will be a sequel to her controversial TELEPHONE promo.
The Poker Face hitmaker shocked fans with racy scenes of nudity and sam e-sex kissing in the newly-released mini-film, which also features Beyonc e. The video ends with the pair poisoning fellow diners in a restaurant a nd driving off into the distance with a "To be continued…" message flas hing up on the screen.
The singer is about to start work on a short film to accompany her next single, Alejandro, but she’s adamant it isn’t a follow-up to the Telepho ne story.
She tells MTV.com, "I’m so excited about the Alejandro video. Actually, we’re shooting it very soon and I don’t want to say who the director is yet because it’s going to give a lot away. I would be more likely to lie through my teeth to you what the video’s about so that you could all be s urprised. But I will tell you it’s not the sequel to the Telephone video.

Superproducer RODNEY JERKINS has likened LADY GAGA to MICHAEL JACKSON - i nsisting the eccentric singer has the potential to build a career to riva l the late King of Pop’s.
Jerkins worked with the late superstar on his final studio album, 2001′ s Invincible, and produced Gaga’s latest hit single Telephone.
The music mogul admits he is extremely impressed with the Poker Face hi tmaker, and he’s adamant she can become a music legend just like Jackson.
He tells People.com, "We haven’t seen an artist like Gaga in a long tim e - we haven’t seen an artist that really has no fear. I remember Michael Jackson used to tell me he was crucified for doing Thriller, but he had to do what he felt was needed at that time. I’m just happy to be part of history.
"I’ve always wanted to leave my stamp on music, and to be able to say t hat I worked with Michael Jackson and now I’m working with Lady Gaga, who ‘ll probably go down in history as one of the best female entertainers of all time." SIR ELTON JOHN spent his 63rd birthday on Thursday (25Mar10) in South Afr ica visiting a HIV awareness centre to see how the money from his AIDS Fo undation has been spent.
The veteran musician has donated $15 million (=C2=A310 million) from hi s charity to help set up projects in the country, to educate youngsters a bout the dangerous disease and help prevent its spread.
And the Rocket Man timed this week’s (beg22Mar10) visit to coincide wit h his birthday celebrations - spending the big day with his partner David Furnish and a group of soccer-loving teenagers at the Football for Hope Centre (FFH), set up by the Grassroots Soccer charity, just outside Cape Town.
The singer says, "Soccer stars are the most powerful role models for yo ung people today so it’s fantastic that organisations like Grassroots Soc cer are harnessing that power to educate young people about HIV. I can’t think of a better way to celebrate my birthday."

A sex tape allegedly featuring late music legend JIMI HENDRIX is set to b e released on DVD.
The film is titled Jimi Hendrix: The Story Of The Lost Sex Tape and pur portedly features the Purple Haze hitmaker in 11 minutes of pornographic footage.
The clips are said to have been discovered in 2007 and will now be rele ased on DVD by distribution company Kaleidoscope, according to NME.com.
Hendrix died in 1970.

British socialite PEACHES GELDOF is embroiled in a new scandal after pict ures of her posing naked hit the internet.
Bob Geldof’s wildchild daughter, currently rumoured to be dating actor/ director Eli Roth, is seen fully nude on a bed with her legs in the air i n one shot, and revealing her breasts in just a pair of pants in another.
The pictures were posted online by a man writing under the name ‘thatco olguyben’, who claims to have enjoyed a one-night stand with Geldof in Lo s Angeles in November last year (09).
The unidentified snapper is said to have met the 21 year old through a mutual friend at a party and alleges they went on to share a night of sex and drugs. He also claimed they visited a Scientology centre in L.A. the following morning.
The photos were uploaded onto a Reddit.com forum under the heading "Wha t’s your most ‘WTF’ (what the f**k) one night stand story?", but the post has since been deleted.
Geldof’s lawyer insists the images were taken for private purposes only and categorically denies the man’s claims that the star "took heroin" du ring the encounter.
A statement issued to British newspaper the Daily Mail reads, "The alle gations that our client was carrying and injecting heroin are denied, our client having consumed alcohol with the other individual leading to the ‘highs’ described and portrayed in the photographs.
